Anyone care to join me? Had a MC esrly May and now having my first "proper" cycle since then. It broke me totally but I almost feel back to myself. I don't want to get obsessed with POAS like I did before (TTC for over a year before getting BFN them mc at 7wks) so just calm and if it happens, it happens......yeah right!!

AF due a week on Saturday according to Ovia. Will probably test next Friday. Come join me in this madness!!

Hi mammabear31, so sorry for your loss. I had an early miscarriage at five weeks last month. Based on normal cycle length I would be due my period around 15th July, but not sure how it will end up. Started trying again straight away so there's a chance I guess, but also trying not to get my hopes up. We have a two year old daughter and we've been ttc a second since January. Here's hoping we both conceive again quickly, I've read you're supposed to be more fertile after a miscarriage x

TeaAndPjs · 07/07/2017 09:50

Yep I'm with you! 2 MMC and a chemical over 7 months and most recent was beginning of may, in my 2ww wait just now, not holding out much hope as due on in 4 days and no symptoms at all

Loopy01 · 07/07/2017 09:54

Hi Mammabear

I'm on my first 2ww since my mc in April. The baby was 7 weeks. I'm due to test on 14th ... the waiting is so hard!

Feeling a little sicky sometimes, nipples tingly and a few cramps but this could (more than likely) all just be in my head!!!

Mammabear31 · 07/07/2017 20:11

Yay I have replies! As lovely as it is to have company, I'm sad it's such rubbish circumstances. Fingers crossed we have better luck this time around Flowers

Will be testing in 6 days time. Feeling nervous and trying really, really hard to think about anything other than POAS!

Hi ladies I had a medical miscarriage last Monday at 9 weeks, I am still bleeding very lightly now, how long did you guys wait before trying again? We have been trying to conceive for 2 1/2 years and I have PCOS.

Thank you hope you get bfp soon ❤

TeaAndPjs · 07/07/2017 21:55

18months - I waited till after 1st period but only as I wasn't emotionally ready before That, it all took it's toll on me after most recent MC but have been at it like rabbits this month and haven't being using protection so realised I'm ready to try again now and by last period I must be in 2ww. My consultant told me last time to start ttc again when I felt ready wether that be 1 week later, 1 month or 1 year

kazzah29 · 07/07/2017 22:28

Really sorry to hear about your miscarriage 18 months. We didn't wait until after my first period and have just started trying again straight away. We still want it so much, and even after the heartache of a miscarriage we're prepared to try again. It's a very personal decision though, and I think waiting a while is perfectly normal for some couples.

I'm pretty sure I'm ovulating now or have in the last few days as I've been a bit crampy and now have super sore nipples (still breastfeeding my two year old)!

Sorry we're here under these circumstances, hope we all have some luck soon.

18mnthsandcounting · 08/07/2017 09:54

Thank you for replying we feel the same kazzah and want to start trying straight away, it's hard to calculate when I'm ovulating though so will just see how it goes.
Tea and pjs the 2ww is so hard! Hope you get your bfp x

Loopy01 · 08/07/2017 21:59

Hope you are all having a nice weekend and managing to forget the 2ww for at least a few minutes a day :)

I'm having iui treatment. This is my 4th attempt. I waited for 1 period after mc before starting again. It just felt right for me.

I do a lot of crochet to take my mind off things. What do you do to distract yourselves?

Fingers crossed for us all :)

kazzah29 · 09/07/2017 20:03

Hi loopy01, weekend has been ok thanks. Yesterday was lovely weather so we all went to a park and then for a walk. Rainy today here though, and I've been feeling awful - nausea, bloating and cramping. Curled up on the sofa with a hot water bottle. No idea if ovulation is causing this but I don't normally feel like this. Hoping it passes and I feel better in the morning for work. I've been pretty good at distracting myself as we're planning a new bathroom and getting organised for a holiday, but it's hard to forget when I feel ill. Hope you're all feeling ok x

Mammabear31 · 09/07/2017 20:08

Hi all, have been avoiding the Ovia app and trying not to think about POAS! Have been keeping busy to try and distract myself, and have actually started reading again. I forgot how much I love getting lost in a good book.

I bled for around 5 weeks following mc, then had another bleed about 2 weeks afterwards. This is my first proper cycle now. If I've worked it all out right I should get either a BRO or AF by Saturday.

I'm sorry for everyone's losses. Fingers crossed this is our month.

OP posts:
Loopy01 · 12/07/2017 15:27

I'm testing tomorrow morning too!

Mammabear31 · 12/07/2017 15:34

Oh yay! I am convinced it will be negative as I'm having no symptoms whatsoever. But then the next minute I'm not so sure!

RhiBee29 · 12/07/2017 15:56

Hi everyone, sorry we're all in the same boat. I MC 26th June bled for about a week and had to have some medical management as didn't pass everything naturally. According to Ovia I'm in the fertile week, sorry if tmi but I'm getting pink tinged cm... is this normal? Planning to wait til after first AF to TTC again so I'm hoping this weird cm means I am ovulating and my cycle isn't too messed up.

Good luck all in the TWW x

Mammabear31 · 13/07/2017 06:14

Hi rhibee, I've heard that pink CM is quite normal during ovulation, how are you today?

Loopy01 · 13/07/2017 08:21

It's a BFN for me :( Absolutely heartbroken, I thought this month would be it. Mammabear, I hope you have better news?!

Mammabear31 · 13/07/2017 08:45

Oh I'm sorry Loopy, what test did you use? Some aren't as sensitive before AF is due. You aren't out yet so don't worry too much Flowers

I used a FRER this morning and got the faintest of faint lines....it's barely there. My AF isn't due til Saturday, so will do a CB digi then to check that it's not a chemical. I am not getting excited or telling anyone (except DH) until I've got that 10 week + scan in my hands.

OP posts:
Loopy01 · 13/07/2017 13:05

That's a good start Mammabear although I totally understand you not wanting to get excited as it's very early days. Will be thinking of you on Saturday morning!

I used an Alere test that the hospital gave me. No idea how reliable they are? Maybe I should go buy a FRER? I just feel so pregnant - boobs hurt, feel sick etc. So was so sure I would get a positive :(

Mammabear31 · 13/07/2017 21:31

You're not out til AF arrives. Fingers crossed, those symptoms sound very promising xxx

OP posts:
kazzah29 · 13/07/2017 21:32

Oh Loopy, mighty just be too early, there's still hope.

Exciting news mammabear, hope you get a stronger line with the next test.

I haven't tested yet but have had lots of symptoms - cramps for the last week, horrible taste in mouth, headaches and sore nipples. I might test tomorrow morning but was trying to hold off until Saturday. I just have too many tests in the cupboard, it's so hard to resist.

Mammabear31 · 14/07/2017 06:33

Good luck Kazzah, I hope you get your bfp!!

I'm so confused. Just got a BFN on a free after a faint line yesterday.

OP posts:
Mammabear31 · 14/07/2017 06:33

Should be frer, not free.

kazzah29 · 14/07/2017 21:24

Really sorry to hear that mammabear, try again tomorrow though. Fingers crossed for you.

I tested this morning with a cheapie and a clear blue. Clear blue def negative, but thought I saw something very faint on cheapie so gonna try again tomorrow. Been feeling nauseous and horrible taste in my mouth all day.
