Very faint line on Superdrug HPT - evap line or positive?

I took a test yesterday and this morning both with FMU. Yesterday's was BFN and I thought this morning's was as well but when I went back to look I saw a very faint line. I didn't check properly this morning after I didn't see a BFP so I'm not sure if it was there within the 3 minutes, or if it's evap. Looking back at yesterday's there no trace of evap line at all.

If it is positive I'd be just shy of 5 weeks. I had weird spotting 3 days before my period was due that lasted on and off about 2.5 days and then suddenly disappeared. I am very regular in my 25-day cycle and can typically predict my period (using Glow app) to the day. It always lasts 6 days as well.

Thoughts?!

I've attached a pic. Yesterday's is on top and this morning's on bottom.

If it genuinely looks like it is pink (not grey) then it's bfp - I cant tell properly but I think it looks good! The spotting was probably implantation x

It looks pink to me but it's so faint I can't really tell! I've had lots of milk cramping and lower back ache. Very very tired.

I have a FRER test I can take tomorrow but from what I've read they're not as good as Superdrug. We'll see! May buy some more SD ones!

I just don't feel quite myself or "normal". It's driving me crazy.

*mild cramping!

Definitely need to get a FRER - I think these tests are notorious for giving out false positives!

Fingers crossed for you! Flowers

Sorry just read you have a FRER! Fab Smile

user1499006498 · 02/07/2017 17:00

I'll let you know what happens in the morning!! X

Superdrug ones def notorious for false positives - plenty of threads on here. Use that FRER!

TinyBarista · 02/07/2017 17:02

Hope you get tha result you want tomorrow Smile

Are FRER more sensitive than SD or are they about the same? I'm so new to all this!

TinyBarista · 02/07/2017 17:45

Don't worry - me too! From what I've picked up FRER are the most sensitive, most reliable ones. I'm limiting myself to internet cheapies (IC) or Tesco own brand until aunt flow (AF) is later than a couple of days. Otherwise I'd have bankrupted myself at this rate Hmm

user1499006498 · 02/07/2017 17:49

Omg I know! I have a Clearblue too - stocked up the other day! Never thought I'd spend so much on pee sticks!!!

I'm kind of assuming I'm not so we've still been trying. Feels too good to happen so soon x

Superdrug are awful. I would never trust one again! Try a frer. Good luck

user1499006498 · 03/07/2017 05:54

FRER was BFN this morning with FMU. I was an appointment with the doctor on Thursday to talk about the weird bleeding and cramping. Hopefully will have some answers soon. Confused

Ugh I'm so disappointed. I knew I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up. Just want to sit in bed all day!

Think I'm going to hold off testing until I speak to my GP. Too much anxiety :(

Why do we do this to ourselves every month Sad
Sorry to hear it's not your BFP.

Hotpinkangel19 · 03/07/2017 07:32

Awful tests. They should be recalled imo. X

user1499006498 · 03/07/2017 07:40

Makes me more worried about what the cramping for the past week has been. Even on AF I rarely cramp. Hmm
