Agonising ovulation cramps after coming off cerazette

Hi everyone, I came off Cerazette at the end of may after about 8 years on it, not to TTC just yet but more to get it out of my system so we can get cracking (so to speak!) straight away when the time comes.
So a couple of weeks ago I got a withdrawal type bleed, deffo not a proper period. And then last night I had the most agonising pains in my lower abdomen, really sharp, take your breath away type pain. I basically was curled up in a ball on the bed for the whole evening unable to move. I can only assume it was ovulation pain as it was in the right area and at about the right time of my cycle.
I'm a bit freaked out because it was so intense and was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this after coming off the pill and it's normal when you haven't ovulated for so long, or if I should go to the doctor and get checked out?

I had this when I stopped loestrin 20. I had four months of bad cramps and had bad ones again this month. I didnt have a period last month so it might have made this months ovulation cramps worse not sure. We arent trying this month as my period is all messed up still after stopping the pill in January.

Your cramps will ware off eventually, i used a hot water bottle when they were super bad.
