Terrified but Excited

So, me and my dear other half have been TTC for the past 6 months with no success until this month...
AF is currently 3 days late (she was due on 27th) and I've been having weird feelings for the past week.
I keep getting a sicky feeling in the pit of my stomach - sorta between wanting to throw up and that feeling you get when you're nervous/scared of something - and my boobs are majorly sore which is hell seeing as I'm 42F.
Unable to resist, I peed on a superdrug's own digital test last night (around 11pm) after holding it for 3-4 hours and I got a little '+' sign but this morning, it was a little '-' sign.
Due in for a blood test on Monday, just to see, but I'm curious if anyone else has had something like this.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated

Hi, I've not had this but I'd imagine that the bfn was false as you wouldn't have got a bfp without actually being pregnant especially on the digital ones. They're actually not as sensitive as non digi ones so maybe try a first response which is a lot more sensitive. Tentative congratulations

First time I got pregnant I couldn't make out what the line was saying. So I bought a first response kit, and for me seeing the actual words "pregnant 1-2 weeks" was a much better confirmation
