Anyone ttc a third baby? How old are your other children?

My other children are 5 and 2, there is just over 3 years between them.
We were thinking of a slightly smaller gap this time but I'm just recovering from surgery due to an ectopic pregnancy so if we do get pregnant again soon then it'll be around a 3 year age gap again.

11 & 8 for me but these are my children with my exh. Trying for DC3 with my lovely DH.

4 and 16months we need to stop for a few month's due to work but after that back yo ttc

11 & 12, 15 months between them, with ex.
My DP doesn't have any so we would like one together :)

I am and my two are still young. The eldest is two and the youngest is eight months. I've just had a mc at nine weeks, but hopefully will get a sticky BFP very soon.

I am ttc #3. I have 2 DS age 6 & 3. We are on cycle 8 of ttc & had 2 chemical pregnancies in that time. Ideally we wouldn't have had such a big gap as there'll be 4.5 years plus between my youngest & a new baby but we're hoping it'll happen soon.

Ooh me! Well, we will be whenever AF decides to show up - still not back after having DD2!

We are ! We have an 8 yr old ds and a 9 yr old dd - have just hadn't a miscarriage at 6 weeks - our third this year - but am an eternal optimist so know we will get a sticky bean soon !

Mine are 2 years and 9 months so both very small. Everyone I've mentioned having another to thinks I must be crazy. I've received some quite odd comments really such as "At least by having your two close together you've got the baby stage over and done with" I actually love the baby stage. I've noticed a lot of people seem to be stuck on the idea that two is the perfect number, it seems to be the norm.

I am wondering whether I could manage with 3 under 3 or 4 :)

I'm new to MN. Due to get me AF today or tomorrow and then we will be TTC with my 3rd with my BF. I have a 12 year old DS and 10 year old DD from my Ex Husband. Still getting used to all the lingo.

I'm 39 years old. Never had a problem falling pregnant before but age could play a role now.

I have 2 dd, 12 & 9. Thought I would only have 2 (that was what the plan was). But now all my friends are settling down and starting families and I'm thinking I want to have another one. Everyone think I'm mad having such a big age gap but I think it would be lovely.

I am! My 2 are nearly 5 and nearly 1. Haven't used any contraception since baby was born but was bf and AF didn't come back until I stopped a few weeks ago. Have also just had treatment on my cervix for CINIII so am supposed to wait a few weeks to have sex, but after that we'll be trying properly. Tbh I anticipated being pg by now but my body had other ideas I guess 🙄 hoping it doesn't take too long - the age gap between my 2 is fab for lots of reasons, but would like a smaller gap next time! Also prone to mc (1 before eldest, 2 before youngest) so just hoping all goes well next time.

I am, oldest ds is 8 and youngest ds is 2.5, didn't want a big age gap with no3 but had a few MCs and it seems the age gap is getting bigger though we're still tryi g and Hopi g for a bfp soon

Welcome new posters! Sorry to hear of the MCs and CPs. Fingers crossed for BFPs and healthy pregnancies for us all with DC3.

My test was BFN and the witch has arrived. It was my first proper/fertile cycle after stopping BF DD2. I know it sounds silly but both DDs were conceived on the first go and we did everything exactly the same as before. But it didn't work this time. So now I'm worrying/wondering what has changed and if anything is wrong! Had DDs at age 32 and 33 and I'm now 34.

I'm pretty certain I ovulated from temping and opks, so I guess that leaves DHs swimmers or lining maybe? I'm going to get DH on some vitamins and I'll take baby aspirin in the hopes to thicken my lining. I can feel I'm going to get a little crazy if it takes longer this time!
