Late AF BFN

Hi all I'm new to this and this is my first post. Me and DH have been ttc since November. This month I ovulated on the 8th June and we were intimate twice during my fertile time( sorry tmi) I have a regular 28 day cycle and AF was due on 25th June. I had my usual cramps on the morning but AF never showed. Took a hpt 26th bfn and another on 27th bfn again. It's the 28th now still no AF but horrendous lower back and breast pain, and some mild nausea. Anyone else ever experienced this and gone on to get their bfp at a later time or am I just wishful thinking?

I'm going through exactly this. My cycle is longer than yours but I'm three days late and bfns for days. I've had some cramping but none of the normal af signs. We've been trying for 15 months for #2 and cycles are pretty regular.

I've googled heavily on the topic and while three are some stories of women only getting their bfp on week 5 or through bloods, it's more likely that our cycles are messed up and af will come.

I'm still holding out hope!

Im 17 day late this month. Did the tests last week all negative.

I stopped the pill in Jan, 4 months of no period, then 2 months of delays 14 and 21 days late). Booked a drs appointment for Friday.

Apparently stopping the pill messes your body up for a while. You may just be super late or have no period this month. Wouldnt stress too much about it. Smile

Hi OP

I was a week late before I got my BFP.

I'd leave it a couple of days and test using a test that picks up low levels of HGC hormone. I think the First Response Early result is a good one to try.

Good luck x

Just been to the drs for my non existent periods after the last 6 months.

Got a blood test booked with the nurse on monday morning. She will discuss the results with me a week later. She said it takes 18 months for yr periods to go full back to normal.

I had my implant removed back in November and my periods returned to normal right away so being late is not of the norm for me although AF did arrive this morning so hopefully better luck next month for me.
