New to Mumsnet and to TTC

Hi all, I didn't know if there's an introduction thread anywhere but I wanted to say hello and write a first post. Im Kate, I'm 30 and I live in Leeds. Me and my boyfriend have just started TTC and I'm very excited! We are doing everything super casually for the first few months but im reading lots of info and gearing myself up for some serious baby making! Is there anyone else here TTC for the first time and also confused by all the lingo and stuff? Anyone else based in Leeds?

Not based in Leeds but been trying to conceive our first for 10 months now. Also new to all this and the lingo!

I'm near Leeds ttc number one. Ttc 16 months... it's a marathon, not a sprint.

So you mean your first tww is really dragging after 4 days? Oh dear. Maybe take up a hobby to distract yourself.

Af just arrived. Onto month 17! Cycle 15! (I have long cycles).

Hi al - I'm new to this too - first month Ttc. I'm 34 and been off bc for two months. We've been dtd this week as I think I've been ovulating - but so much infor etc I'm getting confused and overwhelmed by everything.

Want to keep it casual to begin with as don't want to put too much pressure on ourselves so glad there are some other lovelies here too xx
