I'm probably over thinking everything but I thought I'd write it down here and get some input rather than stewing in my own musings.
Average cycle is 26 days (over about six months). Last month was 31 and the two before that were 25 days.
Today is CD 10, did an ov test yesterday about midday and got a faint line, bit surprised but just expected it to get darker over the next few days.
Then last night got the heavy sensation in my abdomen and the right sided pain I associate with ovulation since my endo surgery last year. This morning I test for ov again expecting a similar or slightly darker line but got zero.
Anyone got any thoughts as to what might be going on? 
I'm mostly pouring it out tonyou guys so my poor DH doesn't have to hear me witter on. He tries really hard to understand but earlier asked me if my cycle would be shorter because June was shorter than May.
