Confused by Clearblue Ov Tests!

Hello,

Have been TTC for a few months and have been charting using Clearblue digital. This month for the first time I decided to try the dual hormone ones.

Got a couple of negatives then 3 days of flashing (high fertility). I unexpectedly had to stay away from home and had no tests so bought a pack of regular Clearblue (not dual hormone) and got a smiley face i.e. Ovulation imminent. However today I was back to the dual hormones and got a flashing smiley again (Peak fertility).

Does this mean that my LH Peak was yesterday or that the dual hormones are more sensitive and I've yet to hit peak?! Or can you go back to High after Peak (wouldn't usually happen as the Peak would fix on the test for 48 hours)!

Sorry - not the most exciting post but if anyone has any thoughts it'd be good to know x

I think it would be possible to go from high to peak, as the amount of LH hormone declines after peak, but for a couple of days there would probably still be enough to register as high

Thanks Pibbee. I will keep testing for a few more days and see what happens but pretty sure I am ovulating now anyway.

I thought with the clear blue ones you stopped testing after you got a static smiley?

Hiya - yes I would normally stop at a smiley face - you have to with the dual hormone ones. It was just because I got stuck overnight in London so had to buy different tests for that morning - then I went back to my dual hormone digitalis the next day!
