Talk to me about ovulation pains

Do you have them? What does it feel like?

I'm waiting to TTC as still awaiting the return of AF after having DD2. She is still a boob monster so probably not happening anytime soon BUT yesterday I had 2-3 hours of proper period pains. And then nada. No AF. So I'm wondering WTF it could be. Ovulation perhaps? Does it feel like period pain!?

Mine's a bit like having a stitch on one side for a couple of days but I have zero idea if this is normal!

Mine feels like a sort of sharp pulling near the inside of my hip bone. Usually only ever on one side each month.

Mine is the same as flash a few days before O and it's always the left for some reason

Hmmm. Thanks ladies! Doesn't sound like I had ovulation pains as it was was. Or concentrated on one side... what the heck was it then?!

I'm having the same as you, kind of like a dull period pain and we're ttc so I wonder what it is. According to my calendar app today is my ovulation day so shouldn't have my period for another couple of weeks

I have really really bad period pain,My ovulating pain is a milder version,it all sucks as I've been sterilised so not fair to still suffer.

Yes that's exactly it - like normal period pains but went away after a few hours. And no AF. No even spotting. I used to get awful, awful period pains pre-DC and this was more mild than that but I still had to take a paracetamol. It was low and across my lower back as well as front. Just like period pain'

We haven't actively been TTC the last few weeks so am definitely not pregnant! I would be quite keen for AF to make an appearance so we can crack on with TTC but it's so annoying not knowing what's going on!

Well nothing further has happened so i guess I will see in another week or so if AF appears - then I will know it was ovulation or just something completely random!
