OPK confused

Hello, this may be long, but I'm confused.

I bought some one step sticks, after having implant out on March. The first month AF arrived bang on time, which I was surprised about but just thought "great I'm getting my cycle back". Second month AF arrived one day late, then started for a day, then went for two days and came back for 4. This month it's about right. For the first cycle I got a positive opk, second I never. Thought, it's fine it may just be my body adjusting after 5 years of implants. This month is odd though, I was going out on Saturday for a party, so on Friday I took a pregnancy test just to be sure I could drink, also took opk, just because I had the pot of wee I guess. Not pregnant, but positive opk. Great says I, dtd on Friday and Saturday. Only today it would appear AF is just starting, it is a bit watery though compared to normal (sorry if TMI).

I'm so confused, how can I get a positive and then AF so soon?

Granted I haven't been great at testing this month because I was kind of trying not to get too bogged down dtd just to conceive, but it's the strongest dark line I've had yet.

If all that made sense and you have any words of wisdom, thankyou!

This happens a lot. It seems as though there is often a second lh surge (the hormone detected that preceeds ov). It does NOT mean you ovulated so close to af. You might want to using bbt to track ov, as it confirms ov has actually taken place. It is not unheard of to have a couple of cycles a year where you don't ov.

Anovulatory cycles are quite common when coming off bc.
