False positive or false negative?

Hi guys... so I've had a few faint positives and got a much darker positive this morning. I went and bought a CB digital and got a BFN 😔. I'm 14 days past AF due date. I've booked into the doctors tomorrow but driving myself crazy... any oppinions? X

I would have said that's a positive, albeit quite light for 14dpAF. Good luck!

From bouncing around the forums trying to solve my no AF, BFN problem I've read time and again that CB digitas aren't as sensitive. The no digitals look BFP to me. Fingers and toes crossed for you.

Do you have a normal luteal phase? 14 days? I only ask because my LP was short so I took longer for PTs to show (as in, days past period due).

Yeah I'm usually a 28/29 day cycle... right on time every month. I'm due to ov again next week x

I would use a red dye test like a first response early.

Unfortunately clear blue tests like that (with the crossed lines) often come up with the wrong result in my experience

Is it possible you've ovulated much later than you thought if the positive is only just getting darker?

@rose yeah it's possible I ovulated later... I didn't do any okp this month as we were just seeing what happened... we've been trying for 16 months so thought we'd stop taking it so seriously. I've done 17 tests 15 of those have been faint BFPS I understand a few false BFPS but 15?! Xx

Also 17 tests isn't crazy...at least nearly all showed faint positive's! I'm about to hit double figure for testing soon enough...and I'm still only 10dpo!

Can't wait! Mine have all been negative so far but I've kept on testing because I'm losing my mind and self control and have had nausea and cramping all week. My uterus likes to play games....I'll get that beeyatch back soon enough

Doctor wasnt very helpful... wait a week and test again. Does she not understand how painful the waiting is 😂 she wouldn't even consider a blood test 😠

I'm so glad there are a lot of us in this boat. I'm going to book the doctors for next week.
