Taking soya isoflavones when having tests for PCOS

I am on CD6 and took my first dose of 120mg of soya isoflavones yesterday with the idea of taking them days 5-9. (I wanted to start earlier but they didn't arrive in time) I have had irregular periods for 8 months and the past 2 cycles I did home opks and they were all negative which strengthens my feelings that I've not been ovulating. I have just been to see the dr and he wants me to have a blood test on Friday to test for pcos. Should I stop taking the soya in case it gives me an untrue result or will it take longer than that to have an effect? I didn't ask the dr about it because he is very abrupt and not very approachable so I thought he would disapprove of me taking them. Thanks!
