Implantation bleed?!

Hi (1st post - be gentle with me!)
So anyone ever had an implantstion bleed? If so, what was it like, and when did it occur? I think I've had one but there's no one I can ask about this! I had a bit of brown-ish womb-type discharge on friday, and a bit on sunday, but no period as yet. This is unusual for me. It is around the time I'd be expecting my period anyway. Bit suspicious of the literature on Implantation bleeding, and it's not mentioned on the NHS website. So my womb is either messing me around or is trying to grow something. Help/advice/encouragement gratefully received!! Xx

I had implantation bleeding. It was very much like the start of my period except after the initial half day it got lighter instead of heavier and was gone altogether about 24/36 hours after it started. It was browny-red blood and enough for me to put in a tampon and assume my period had arrived, although it would have been a day or two early.

Af due imminently. I keep making extra trip to the bathroom to see if I'm bleeding yet....if this were anything other than a weird period then it would be a bit of a surprise...

VocalCat that sounds exactly like what's happening with me...did you experience any light cramping? I have some very light sensations going on (my cramps are normally bad enough to make me sick!)

I had implantation bleeding but didn't realise what it was until afterwards IYSWIM.

It was around about when my period was due and was just a 50p sized blob, light redish like the start of a period. Expected my period to follow and when I got my BFP when my period was a week late I realised what the bleeding had been.

I had quite bad cramps and was really sad because we were trying and even though I knew all about implantation bleeding, what I was experiencing seemed too heavy and too painful. It wasn't and everything in the pregnancy went smoothly. Fingers crossed for you.
