Is this a fading BFP?

The top test was taken on Saturday 3rd June when I was 1 day late.

All symptoms seemed to fizzle out after feeling really quite sick so I took the bottom test yesterday to calm my mind, it's had the opposite affect 🙄

It doesn't say on the test or the instructions which is the control line. The pee bit is to the left. Can anyone help me out? Is this is fading BFP? It's a First Response test.

When your 'really' pregnant the dye can be all sucked up by the pregnant line and leave not much for your control line. Why not try a digital one to put your mind at rest.

I'm just confused as to which one is the control line. I think it's the one on the right which means it's the test line that's become lighter?

Try a clear blue digital.

Can you post a photo of the full test? So we can see which is which line?

Hotpink, I can do when I'm home. There is nothing on the test to identity which line is which but the dipstick is to left of the result window

The line on the right is the control line. I suggest testing tomorrow with FMU - it could just be a dodgy test! Worst case scenario is a chemical pregnancy but the first test was so strong that a doubt it.

I'm supposed to be 6 weeks on Thursday so I wasn't sure if FMU was needed, I will try tomorrow morning though

I've found the instructions in my bag I'm in pretty sure the control line is on the right so it's the result line that's faded

Hi the control line is the mine furthest from the pee end so on the left if you hold the pee end to the right which is what is pictured. Looks like a super strong bfp to me rather than a fading one. The test line has sucked almost all of the dye from the control line.

@Owiseones definitely! I've attached a pic of mine. The control line is furthest from the pee end on all the tests

@AmyB1986 they aren't the same tests.

Op if you can get another frer and do with FMU you should have your answer x good luck x

I do loads of pregnancy tests (professionally!). The result line is the one nearest the pee end in every test I've ever used.

What @mcdog said, it's a really strong line! It's pulled it from the control line!!
