Hi all,
Apologises for this lengthy speel but I would appreciate some advice and thought you would be the experts :)..
I've had irregular periods for the last few years and they stopped completely for 5 months last year until I went to the dr in January. He arranged bloods and internal scans, the bloods came back fine and the scan revealed I had some cysts on my ovaries but 'not that many' according to the scan lady. The doctor advised it was possibly PCOS and sent me away to lose weight (lost 16 pounds at the moment), take the pill (can't remember it's name for the life of me) and read a leaflet..
I then had a period somewhat miraculously (I guess the leaflets really helped!! Hmm) on the 27/01. Periods then followed on these dates settled around a 26/27 day cycle.
23/02
21/03
16/04
12/05
I had taken the pill for the first two months (Feb and march) and then came off and we aren't using birth control for April and may.
I had my last period on 12/05 and would be due my next on 7/06 however this hasn't arrived. I have been feeling tired, emotional and stressed with a mild tummy ache today as well as feeling quite nauseous these are obviously signs of an immenient period and of pregnancy (very irritating they are so similar!!). I am sure that I ovulated this month as I had the rather pleasant cervical mucus(?) the one that is like egg whites on the 29/5 (quite late into the cycle?) and we did the deed on 25/5 and 29/5.
Incredibly nervous to do test in case it is negative, wishing more than anything for baby! Any advice you lovely people?? Charlotte x

Generally we start af about 10-15 days after ovulation. For each individual, it will always be about the same number of days. For example, I always start af 15 days after ov. So if you ovulate later, af will be delayed.

So it looks like you would be due around now... you can take a test in a few days if af hasn't shown her face.
