Anyone else had similar symptoms?

My DH and I have just started ttc. Af was due on Thurs but nothing yet except some very light spotting and stomach cramps similar to pmt. I'm never normally late but don't want to get my hopes up (and also nervous about getting a negative result if I test). Has anyone else had a similar situation.

I didn't have the spotting but when I felt very crampy and it was identical to feeling like an impending period so I had the shock of my life when I finally tested after I was a couple of days late and it was positive. It's very confusing because I found that early on during implantation for me it felt exactly like a period was coming. My advice would be wait until your period is actually late before you test. I used to test like crazy for no reason because I was never late and the time I found out I was pregnant I actually waited and waited until my period was a now show. Saves you money of peeing sticks too

I'm in a similar situation. My period was due last Tuesday, I'm normally bang on time with it. I've been having cramping and back ache like I'm about to come on my period but nothing. I've not had any spotting neither. I ended up caving and tested Thursday evening, it was negative so I've been left feeling very disappointed and confused. Try and wait a bit longer before you test and do a morning wee too. I'm going to probably give it another go Tuesday or Wednesday. I've got my fingers crossed for you 🤞
