Do we ever convince ourselves too much?

Hello.

So basically I think I've had a scare recently... I had a faint line on my first (of four) pregnancy tests, in four consecutive days.

I had sex both two days prior and two days post my period. So, not highly fertile? Right?

I'm not due a period until 18th June but it has been over 14 days since the last sexual encounter.

What I want to ask you, is, do any of you convince yourselves of pregnancy?

I have recently. For sure. The faint line on the first test didn't help (obviously).

But I've had sore boobs (I do usually suffer with this about 1-2 days before my period is due, but ATM I'm 10 days off). Also suffering with morning sickness, although it is settled with some sort of food, like a breakfast bar or yoghurt etc. But I never really have had breakfast....

Has anyone else convinced themselves they're pregnant?

Please note, since the 'faint line', I've taken 3x more tests that have been entirely negative... So I'm trying to stay in mindset that the first was just an evap line.

Thanks in advance. X

I wouldn't test until I had a missed period. It's too easy to become obsessed with TTC & then be upset when it doesn't happen...

Depending on your period and cycle, you could get pregnant 2 days after your period.

Also. A positive pregnancy test is a positive pregnancy test... in what space of time did you do the tests? Which ones were they? Perhaps the positive was the most sensitive one and you need to wait for at least 2 days for others to be positive too.
