The exact same happened to me and I wasn't pregnant, but I was freaking out because I thought I was! The DR told me having a copper coil won't affect anything because it has no hormones, but I found that it did throw my cycle out quite a bit. I was about a week late on the first month, 4 days late on the second month and I'm now 4 months without my coil and everything is back to normal. I hope that helps

thank you..

the reason i got the copper coil was the advantage of no hormones really wish i had known this previously.. hopefully things go back to normal soon thanks again xx

I felt the same, I almost complained to my dr because I felt so mislead...but felt there was no point in the end. I had come off the injection onto the copper coil because I knew we would want to start trying soon. It's frustrating but of course doesn't mean you can't get pregnant. It just makes it hard to gauge when ovulation happens. I hope you get your BFP soon

My period after removal was 6 days late, and then pregnant the following month.
