Nervous to test 😁

Hi everyone,

We've only just started TTC this month, I came off my pill at the beginning of May but I'm now two days late for my period! I'm itching to test but scared of getting a negative and getting ahead of myself. I've had cramping like I'm going to come on my period but nothing, not even spotting. Has anyone experienced anything similar?

Do it! Not similar to you we was trying to conceive for 2 years but I waited till my period was 9 days late because I couldn't handle another negative, currently 17 weeks pregnant 😀😀 good luck xx

No symptoms either just cramping like period was gunna come xx

Think I'm going to have to cave and test tomorrow if my period still hasn't appeared! The waiting is killing me.

I've also had a bit of sickness feeling from certain smells and light headed spells but I just keep on thinking it's my mind playing tricks on me

I thought that till the morning before I did my test and the smell of bacon knocked me sick! Keep us updated 😀 fingers crossed for you xxx

Good luck @Saz626 I'm the same as you! Took my last pill 12th may! I took a test a few days ago and had a really faint line... I'm not convinced though?! So will test again in a few days! I'm nervous for a negative but I'm also nervous for a positive!! Does anyone else feel nervous about seeing that positive line?! (Good nerves obviously!)

@linzlinz how exciting!! I know what you mean, I feel nervous for that positive result but I know I'll be so disappointed with a negative. Did you have a period when you finished your pill?

So I took my last pill 12th may, had a normal withdrawal bleed and then seemed to ovulate a few days after that (only a guess due to CM sorry if too much info!) did the deed a lot around that time, and if I did ovulate I've officially missed my period by 2 days now... but based on my normal 28 day cycle if I was still on the pill I'd actually be due on on the 15th, next Thursday!

I got pregnant two months after taking my last pill so good luck !! And do a test and update us xxx

Nope not as yet. I'll be testing at some point in the next few days. I really don't want to end up with a negative and have to go through the disappointment. Promise to post as soon as I have xx

Well I caved and did a test this evening. It's a negative for now. Still haven't come on my period and had no spotting etc. I'll probably wait until early next week now and do another test xx

Hi @Saz626 no we didn't test again today, it's been a busy day here there and everywhere... we commute to and from Gran Canaria every week lol and I ideally wanted to use my first wee of the day but hadn't pre bought a test for this morning! I'm due AF on Thursday so myself and the other half have decided to wait and do it the old fashioned way and see if I miss a period! As much as I want to test every day until then though haha!
