Bit of back story - mmc at the beginning of march (surgical management). Two af since - one on day 30, the other on day 28. Then this month, no af. I'm now on cycle day 35. I took a test on Saturday with a non-sensitive test that was barely readable. On Monday, I took the top photo and this morning, the bottom photo. The levels are not getting darker. I'm a mess. I'm convinced this isn't viable but my symptoms are going crazy. I can't believe that it's not showing up more!

Basically, what are your good experiences of having had bfn's or super squinters for days? Has anyone had any experiences of getting a pregnancy off the ground with a result like mine or one where bfn's were showing for a while?

Booking a blood test later I just need some positive stories to help get me through the day please Sad

Hi OP

My first pregnancy I had bfns for ages and then one day the test said pregnant. I went with a digital one in the end because I was giving myself eye strain.

Get yourself a digital one and give your your eyes a rest!

Good luck op!

CreekyOldKnee · 07/06/2017 06:47

Ps I can definitely see a line!
Tentative congrats!

Thanks cheeky. So pleased your bfn's showed as bfp in the end. My hesitation to test with a digital is that they test higher levels of hcg whereas the ones I've used above test levels of 10. If I'm barely getting a result with those then surely it'll just say negative on a digital?

I just don't trust these tests at all 🙁 can you take a different test? FRER?

CreekyOldKnee · 07/06/2017 07:40

I know how you feel OP but if you're pregnant, you're pregnant - the type of test you use won't change that, it should just make it easier to know one way or the other.

Good luck Flowers

Get yourself an FRER - those tests are rubbish. I saw another thread recently that barely had even a squinter on those yet a clear as day line on an FRER. Fingers crossed for you op.

Frazzled2207 · 07/06/2017 07:58

I'd tentatively say they're positive. Recommend the superdrug ones for clarity. As you say the digital ones may not be reliable this early on.

emvy · 07/06/2017 08:24

Those are Superdrug ones. Almost bought frer's yesterday. Will maybe buy some frer's and an early detection cb later and test in a few days. Thank you so much for all your responses. I'm pretty sure they're positive right now it's just whether the levels are increasing to know if it's viable. Which I understand the only way to know is to get a blood test. I guess I will just be in limbo for a while longer.

When I fell pregnant with ds, no joke I must have poas 15 times before it showed up positive! And even then my dh wasn't convinced he could see anything. I was certain I was pregnant so just kept poas until it agreed with me! He's 3 now btw Smile

GreenDill · 07/06/2017 22:04

I've always used cb digitals when I've got my bfps (last time 5-6 days before af was due) so it might work!

emvy · 08/06/2017 06:27

Thank you so much for your response short, that made me feel better Smile I guess I just have to sit tight!

Thanks green. I checked the packet yesterday and they test levels of 25 so I'll be waiting a little bit to use one of those but will hopefully get around to using it by next week, fingers crossed!

Unfortunately the dr wasn't interested in giving me a blood test so I'll just keep poas!

Update. Took this, this afternoon. Not even fmu but I wasn't having much luck with them! Feeling like I can begin to settle into this pregnancy now. Yay for my first non-squinter!

Thank you for your messages Smile
