Any advice please!

Caved this morning and did a test 2 dys before period due. I was in Tesco so just bought their own brand. Didn't hold out much hope but did it and it was a very faint positive (but came up straight away and was blueish not grey, so not an evap)

I then thought, just to be sure I will go and get a superdrug one as they are really sensitive (so I thought) but it was negative. I also got a digi which says not pregnant.

I feel so deflated! I was so excited this morning, but now am sitting here crying.

Have you go a picture of your Tesco test I'm in a similar situation, very thin faint line on Tesco test but negative on frer this is my Tesco one. I'm thinking Tesco tests are just rubbish. X

Try a frer. They are much better for detecting early preg

HansSolo22 · 05/06/2017 16:45

Same advice as dolly. I had a very very faint line on Tesco & Boots tests (thought I wad seeing things!) But it was a definite line with a frer test done the same day! Good luck

Sorry not that clear but I think the line is pretty clear. I was really surprised when the others were negative. Although I have just dug the Superdrug one out on the bin and torn it apart and think there is something there.

That is far more clear than my initial result!!

PoppinsMoppins · 05/06/2017 18:36

Going to get a frer tomorrow. The Superdrug one has an incredibly faint line. So fingers crossed! Am I right in thinking digital ones aren't as sensitive?

I've been chasing the faintest of positives over a few days now. I'm testing 48 hours apart.

I'm not sure about the top photo - the line looks a bit too thin maybe? But OP I can see your one very clearly. I'd give it 48 hours and test with another frer. I used wilko's own first time - faintest line I've ever seen in my life and then Superdrug early detection own brand this morning that was much clearer. The Superdrug early detection tests levels of 10, frer tests levels of 6 apparently so you'll maybe get a more accurate result there in a couple of days. I'm going to test again Wednesday with my other Superdrug one and hope for a darker line! I have everything crossed yours also get darker!
