Help and advice

Hey all, so basically I was not feeling well on the pill anymore. I take it for 3 months then have my time of the month as they are so horrendous (doctor advised) wanted to start trying for another baby in October this year 2017 so decided it may be easier to fall if it's out of my system anyway and my body needed a break from the irregular periods. When I have done this previously I fall back into a 28 day cycle religiously and have down this since I was 14 yo. I'm now 29.

On the 25th April I missed my pill started spotting immediately after a week stopped taking the pill as I'd had this before and the spotting doesn't stop till I let my period come. I was incredibly emotional. I stopped taking the pill on the Wednesday 3rd may so last pill taken was on the 2nd.

Fast forward to the 31st may 2017 (wed) would've been 28 days since I stopped taking the pill. Usually I begin my period 2 days after stopping but I don't know for sure as I was already bleeding the previous time. So that would make 2 days late? I've done a pregnancy test and I'm showing negative.

From my last pregnancy (5 years ago so a bit hazy on the details) I think it took 4 days till after my period was due but I'm getting very anxious I'm not even pregnant and something's wrong with me. Of course I will go to the doctors next week as soon as I get an appointment if I'm still the same.

Other symptoms are my breath are tender on and off. They swell then go down. I had light cramping leading up to Wednesday (31st may) my back is sore. I realise this may be because it's the hormones evening out from coming off the pill but there's so much information on the internet I'd rather get others experiences and advice till I can see a doctor.

Many thanks in advance.

Morning bird
I'm not sure what to say really, if you still don't have a period in a few days, do test again. But, truth be told I think that your cycle may just be settling down. It can take well over six months, sometimes even a year for things to settle and regulate after finishing hormonal contraceptives.
Either way. Good luck on your TTC journey.
