AF due today. I haven't had any usual PMS symptoms at all this month. I was told yesterday after an ultrasound that it looks as though I have polycystic ovaries and am booked in with the GP to discuss it all in a few weeks.

Tested this afternoon with a Tesco test ( never used them, are they reliable?) and this is the result. Should I be cautiously optimistic?

I can definitely see lines, looks like congrats are in order 😃

Dementedswan · 02/06/2017 15:29

I can see something. I'd retest with an early response test to check .

emvy · 02/06/2017 16:49

I can see them! Congratulations! I used Tesco tests when I first fell and I was definitely pregnant so I wouldn't necessarily worry about re-testing with another brand if you don't want to. I do personally prefer using pink dye ones but that's a personal preference and i do tend to re-test for a few days after initially testing, just to prove myself I didn't make it all rather than anything else!

Justwaitingforaline · 02/06/2017 16:59

Emvy it's nice to find someone else who's used them! do they look similar to your early positives? I'm planning to retest in a few days anyway as it's been 8 long months ttc and I quite quite get my head around it.

I can clearly see the line. Congrats.

Love the nails too 😊

namechange20050 · 02/06/2017 17:04

Yes well done! congrats!

tabithaa · 02/06/2017 17:09

Congratulations Smile

I didn't test until later because my cycles were all over the shop so mine were darker but I'd say based on when you said you tested, they look about right! Pink dye tests will be slightly darker. My Tesco one was slightly darker than my pink dye one. Aww congratulations, you must be over the moon, so so pleased for you x

emvy · 02/06/2017 17:24

Sorry it was slightly lighter than the pink dye ones!

Thank you all, I'm really struggling to believe it/accept it so I think I'll leave it a few days and get a digital. I've have 3 chemical pregnancies in the time we've been ttc so I'm very cautious but somewhat optimistic that this one might just stick. Due date based on LMP would be our anniversary Smile

Aww it seems almost like fate 💕 I understand your cautiousness, I mc my twins in March so will heading into a new pregnancy feeling cautious too. Completely understandable. I really hope this one is sticky for you x

I have everything crossed I possibly can, trying not to inspect every tissue wipe too much
