Help understanding basal temps

I'm trying really hard to become pregnant. I know it's stressing me out but I genuinely cannot help it, it's not stressing me out to the max but I know it's there everyday I take a test.

I have PCOS and ovulation tests keep telling me i'm ovulating, so they're straight in the bin.

I thought I'd use a basal tempature but I don't actually know what i'm doing! Do I stick it in pee or girly area? I haven't a clue what on earth i'm doing.

My temperature goes by C but almost everything online goes by Fahrenheit.

Any other PCOS TTC'ers that find it's better taking your temp this way? Or like ovulation tests, do you keep getting high readings?

Take your temp orally as soon as you wake. DO NOT stick it in wee. Do not move before taking your temp. Take it at the same time every day.

Use an app like fertility friend (which can be set for Celsius). It will take the guess work out of when you ovulated, as the app can spot the pattern for you.

Good luck.
