You're pregnant Mctufty! That is most definitely a BFP! My first one wasn't that clear! Once I had a positive I kept testing every day until I believed it. I just used the cheap ones from Home Bargains. Congrats! 🎉👶🏻

They'll either confirm the pregnancy for you or just refer you to a midwife. I didn't even see my doctor I just filled a form in which they passed on and my first appointment is this weds. So now you can work out your due date and there's a lovely app called Ovia which gives you information every day on what's going on inside. Hope you're feeling ok. I remember finding out and going through every emotion from happy to terrified ! It's finally sunk in for me now though 😊

That's very sweet Cheryl thank you. Probably won't come and be the only moaner left on thread though especially as I really think the chances are very minimal and it'll probably make me feel even shittier. Will keep reading for updates on you all though it's been a lovely thread ❤️

Thanks for the well wishes everyone! linz I am mainly terrified because the short luteal phase I think makes me high risk for miscarriage. But nothing I can do so have to just sit it out.

cheryl I told him when he was half asleep! I did the test really early when I couldn't sleep and was waiting so long for him to wake up I just couldn't wait any longer!

limp sorry you're not feeling hopeful. I obviously have no idea if or when it will happen for you, but wish you all the best if you're going to keep trying and you definitely have a shot. Please do come back and let us know how you get on, I agree this is a lovely thread xx

Hi Linz hope you are getting on ok.

It's fine. Only 5 months which is no time at all, I know that, and negativity does not help either. I am not exactly being stroppy negative though, I just have a huge gut feeling it is too late. Obvs ten million other things causing a bit of misery at the moment might not help either. I wasn't flouncing! More that it's going to be a dead thread now and it is unlikely I will have anything to report.

All fine here, 12 week scan this morning and all is well which is such a relief!

This pregnancy is going so so fast, I've got a little bump now and am currently lay in bed being kicked lol, the movements are getting much stronger now!

Linz, I think you're having a girl! Your scan pics are really lovely. Did your due date stay the same when you had your dating scan? I'm so glad everything is going well :)

12 weeks already Mctufty! I found it really hard to relax until I had that first scan. Do you think you'll find out what you're having?

I'm great thanks, I will be 22 weeks tomorrow. We found out we're having a girl, our 2 sons are excited because they were hoping for a sister! My bump looks huge, but I'm going to put that down to her being my 3rd! At the scan she was measuring normal. Loads of kicks and punches every day now, I can even see them and feel them from the outside.

Hello!!

All is going well here. I'll be 32 weeks on wednesday so definitely getting there! I've been measuring 3 weeks ahead, the midwives aren't worried though since this is our 3rd baby. At my last appt she said baby didn't feel too big for me (ha!).

I've been going swimming a couple of times a week and walk a couple of miles every day. I think I'm slowing down though because after an hour and a half of walking about I'm just so sore.

How are you? Baby doing gymnastics in there?!

Hello! Really pleased you’re both getting along so well. 31 weeks @linzlinz, can’t believe it! You’re so close! Have you thought about your birth plan?

@cherylttcagain 3 weeks ahead, well from what I understand the last couple of weeks of pregnancy are no fun anyway so hopefully you’ll be spared! Well done keeping up the exercise, I haven’t, I feel huge (though not my bump, I’m still looking like I might have just put weight on!)

I’m due 30 May so coming up to 23 weeks now. It doesn’t feel like it’s going quickly but no complications or concerns so can’t complain!

Following your updates I just had a quick stalky search for @limp to see how she is getting on and she just got her BFP!!!!!! Hopefully it’s a sticky one and she will come back and tell us all about it soon!

Did you find out if you're having a boy or girl Mctufty? My hubby and I are way too impatient to wait til birth!

It's only the measurement of my bump the midwife takes, not from scans or anything. I'm not worried. I was measuring even bigger at this point with my 1st and ended up having to have a growth scan.

Wow we're all getting so far along! I've had a really easy pregnancy so far, I still don't feel like it's sunk it yet and it'll be here in 9 weeks lol!

I've got a low placenta so having another scan at 36 weeks to see if I need a c section or not.

We've not found out the sex, we wanted a surprise. Struggling for boys names!! Do that girls know what you're having?

I had my first antenatal class this morning, I really enjoyed it! Glad to hear you're both doing well and hope @LimpLettice joins us back here soon! X
