I'm just wondering how long everyone waited after having the copper coil removed to have a period? I've had mine out 5 weeks and nothing

I wouldn't have thought taking out the copper coil would affect your cycle would it? Given that there are no hormones involved. Have you been ttc or having unprotected sex? Could you be pregnant?

My cycles went. Bit wonky after I had my copper coil out... irregular cycles for awhile, but my periods were so much better!!! Go to the doc if you don't get a positive pregnancy test or a period around when the next one would be due... otherwise, just wait it out!

I went from being 30 days on the dot with the coil to min 24, max 39. But now I'm regular 33 days after a year and a half.

About 13 months. Baby arrived after 9 of those.... conceived about a week after it was removed 😯

My next period was about a week late, pregnant straight after that Smile

Technically you can get pregnant the day the coil is out as there's no hormones in it, so might be a chance you're pregnant? Were your cycles regular before? I'm due mine out in July so watching with interest too!
