Ovulation test?

So I know the line is meant to be darker, but what does this mean.

Does a strong line mean ov has just happened? Or is coming? Or could you get that line through your whole cycle? I'm confused, could someone help please!!

I'm pretty sure the lines start off faintly and gradually get darker during your fertile week as it picks up LH surge. When the line is at it's darkest it means ovulation is happening within the next 12(?)hrs or so. But hopefully someone else will be along to confirm/correct this, just didn't want to read & run! Xx

I think that ovulation tends to happen 12-48 ( or is it 36) after a positive OPK, but it's not an exact science.

The OPK in the pic doesn't positive; not far off though.

These are my opks - 1 from this morning and 1 from 15 mins ago. Ovulation usually occurs 12-36 hours after a positive but can take up until 48 hours.

Looks like your near your positive though.

Thanks all, Could it look like that if I had already ovulated? Or does it disappear?

I think it could look like that if the surge had already happened and hormone levels were reducing. That wouldn't necessarily indicate that ovulation had happened yet: it could be still in the pipeline. There's no certainty to be gained from OPKs regarding whether or not ovulation has definitely happened, just guidance which isnt 100% definitive. This is why they annoy me! (I still do them, though....)
