can an opk give you a BFP? anyone

Hi all,

Have any of you ever used an opk as a HPT? I have tested positive on an opk (this is all I have in the house until I go to the shop) 2 days in a row. This is 18DPO and I just have a funny feeling I am pregnant.

The opk shows a line much stronger than the control line with FMU

Anyone have any experience of this or If I'm just clutching at straws?!

Yep, did with me, I don't usually get positive OPK's when ovulating (my surge must be short and hard to catch) but I got fab lines which just got darker and darker when I did OPKs alongside my pg tests

Yes! Did with me in both pregnancies

opk can show hormone increases due to ovulation, pregnancy OR just the ramp up to your period. you need a pregnancy test to be sure.
