Hello ladies..did anyone of you went for pelvic ultrasound to check fertility? Im thinking to go for one.. (not desperate at all...) it cost a £100 but could be done tomorrow (..well not literally once the bitch has gone.....but anytime...)??

Island35 · 31/07/2017 17:59

I've not heard of this but if you want to know I would do it. I guess when I see the gyno and fertility doctors it might be something they suggest.

Perpetualstateofchaos · 31/07/2017 19:14

Moto I had an ultrasound and a load of blood tests as part of my recurrent miscarriage investigation. This was through the nhs.

SydBound27 · 31/07/2017 20:05

Hi ladies can I join? Funny cycles recently but af due on the 9th and after some pretty determined holiday bds at the right time in hoping this might be our month.

Been ttc #2 since march last year and all blood tests are normal so far - who knows whats going on. Fx for everyone who's still in the game

.. Good for you Cakes!!!!! 👏Amazing staff!
I should not complain about my life either... I have a wonderful husband and 7 year old handsome boy....

Island35 · 01/08/2017 16:29

We're not too old! Doctor didn't seem to be bothered about being 35 only that I wasn't 25, if that makes sense.

Blood test is back and I have something up with my iron levels. I knew this but have a fasting blood test next Wednesday, I really hate blood tests.

doodles13 · 02/08/2017 07:20

So I caved and tested this morning - BFN. I'm 11/12 dpo but I guess that's still pretty early. Will hold out till Saturday before I test again. See if anything happens in the meantime...

Have any of you ladies been on anti-depressants/anti-anxiety medication during any of your precious pregnancies? Or do you know anyone who has been?

I have recently come off them having been on them for 7yrs. Struggling a lot with it at the moment and debating whether to go back on them. However I know that some of them can be harmful when pregnant. I would be looking at going on Sertraline. Any advice would be great ladies x

doodles13 · 02/08/2017 12:13

Previous pregnancies I mean! Although they are also precious! Flipping auto correct 😂

Island35 · 02/08/2017 14:42

A friend of mine is gradually coming off of medication at the moment for this exact reason. I would talk to the doctor if you're struggling. Having been on anti-depressants before I really feel for you. Big hugs.

Thanks ladies, that really does make me feel better. Think I'm going to give them a try as I'm really not myself at the moment. The witch turned up today too - just puts the tin lid on today!!!!
