Conceiving in Bali - would you? Zika risk.

Does anyone know much about the Zika risk in Bali right now? I'll be travelling there with DH later this year and really wanted to kick off ttc there. Is this a stupid idea? The doctor has said there is a moderate level of risk. Would you take it? I can't bear the thought of waiting for 6 months after we return and telling DH we couldn't go would break his heart. He is ready to ttc but not as fussed about the timing.

No way would I take the risk. We aren't booking any holidays this year until last min to make sure we avoid any zika areas

I'd probably go and then pay for the blood test after so if there's no infection, I wouldn't have to wait 6 months necessarily.

Why would you do that? Why does it matter where your child is conceived? . Unless you plan to name them after one of the local waiters and roll out the "hilarious" tale at any given opportunity?
