cazzybabs · 24/03/2007 17:34

Yes -well I hope so......2 lines still a line right. I guess I'll find out in a few days or not!!

But am fairly certian I am having a Novmeber baby (as long as I don't have another mc (worried face).

OP posts:
alittlebitshy · 24/03/2007 17:35

thanks for thinking of me
I'm crying thinking about how lovely you all are.

i think this pg is over so i WILL see you on the April thread(albs does maths re her cycle and the probability of bleeding stopping anytime soon - er, maybe not til the maay thread.... dunno...)

if any of you have had bleeding (early miscarriages i suppose i should say)..... any advice on how to start feeling better (i know, i know, it's only happened today but i'm someone who dwells on things rather and will assume that anytime i get a bfp now it's going to go wrong)

you're all fab and i think god for mumsnet.

gillian1973 · 24/03/2007 17:38

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!

Best of luck, take it easy and try to keep the worry at bay. Fat chance of that I know - there are some very nice ladies in the pregnancy after mc thread and I'm sure they will welcome you with open arms and understand your worries. Hopefully several of us will join you there next month!

(((hugs)))

cazzybabs · 24/03/2007 17:40

Oh a littlebitshy....the only thing that got me through the 1st few weeks post mc was getting pregnant again... but I am terrified it will happen again.

It was nothing that you did or could change.

I carried on taking my multivits and allowed myself 1 cup of tea a day (I had been drinking about 5) and ate more fruit and veg.

i just try to think that the babies I lost are
with God - God had even given a name to each of them.

OP posts:
BeckleSpeckledEgg · 24/03/2007 17:51

oh alittlebitshy how awful for you. Have you seen doctors? Are you sure it's m/c not just bleeding? (sorry if that's insensitive - I had bleeding in all my pgs) Feel free to pop into here , we've all been through it if you need to talk...

alittlebitshy · 24/03/2007 18:14

btw i didn't read your other message properly cazzy - yay!!!!!!! well done you!!!!!!!!

that's lovely - thinking that they're with god

beckle - no that's not insensitive at all. I don't know for sure it's a miscarriage, but right now i think, for my sanity, i need to think it is, then if proven otherwise it's be great.

BeckleSpeckledEgg · 24/03/2007 18:17

that's probably a very sensible approach alittlebitshy, hope you are okay

alittlebitshy · 24/03/2007 18:20

that's me, sensible.

er... actaully maybe no rofl. a new found em maybe?!

(do you all mind me still lurking - or even not so lurking - here bearing in mind i'm not going to get another bfp in march)

alittlebitshy · 24/03/2007 18:21

meant to say maybe NOT and new found ME

Congrats Cazzy!

Alittlebitshy

Awen and family

All going on here

Haven't been up to much BD, despearaltely trying to organise a school place for ds3- (he si autistic, no useful speech / doubly incontinent / cant read emotions / no skills such as drawing etc but the LEA want him to start in a mainstream school with nio support- my Arse he will ) and that ahs ttaken the toll a bit.

gillian1973 · 24/03/2007 20:25

Littlebitshy (((hugs))). Are you going to try EPU or the GPs on Monday to check what's going on?

beansprout · 24/03/2007 20:44

Congratulations Cazzy!

How many of us are left and are you all driving yourselves mad by symptom spotting

MamaMaiasaura · 24/03/2007 21:15

((hugs)) a littlebitfishy xx still hoping it is all ok for u

Congratulations to cazzy xx

Thankfully ds hasnt sprouted the rash that goes with scarlet fever (he had it last year) altho the strawberry tongue is still there. It might be that the antibiotics and painrelief have started working - 5 doses down him now. He has picked up a bit today but still not a well bunny. Tears over lunch - hurting to swallow etc. Annoyed with work as they are spouting off at me for needing monday off to look after him.. Trrying to see if my mum can have him tues & wed - but she wont have him here and wil drag him to her house.. she isnt the best nurse in the world altho she means well. (remembering lack of sympathy from when i was little)

No sign of AF yet. Still achy boobs and a little achy downstairs. DOnt know whetehr to be done with it and test!! CD28 (CD24 cos started clomid late) today.

cazzybabs · 24/03/2007 23:38

PeachyClair - your poor ds. Erghhh it makes mne so mad. At my school we have loads of support for a partly-hearing child who, to be honset, manages so really well and his LSP just sit doing nothing (well she sits and works with small groups). I hope you get something sorted!

OP posts:
kazza25 · 25/03/2007 10:15

hello Ladies can I join you please? first month of ttc number 2 (ds is 15 months) and am 4 days late, just to get my hopes up, but bfn yesterday. my cycle has become occasionally long (up to 40 days once) and used to be clockwork 28 days, so i think its just a long one. was really pleased to come across this thread and see that there's so many going thru the same thing!! there was me thinking it'd be less stressful second time around.

PeachyClair · 25/03/2007 15:45

Welcome Kazza

Cazzy the issue is, you cant get help without a written diagnosis. They can only give you a written (as opposed to verbal) diagnosis after the speech therapy assessment. Speech therapist left 5 months ago and wont be replaced.

Quite.

DS1 is Aspergers, i think thats on of the reasons (just one!) that we're going for No4, in the hope that ds2, as average as they come, will have a support- he doesn't have what anyone else would term as a real sibling, iyswim, not onle he can share with or paly with.

Course, tehre's a chance this one will be ASD too but we've been there enough it won't be end of the world.

Always wanted 4, refuse to let ASD stesl our dreams, if that isn't too dramatic?

cazzybabs · 25/03/2007 15:48

PeachyClair - think you are very brave. I am not sure I could cope with a ASD child...but I guess you don't get much choice and he is your baby. (I hope I haven't offended you?)

OP posts:
PeachyClair · 25/03/2007 16:01

No thats fine- but actually he's reallye asy to live with! He's of the passive ASD variant (thankfully- DS1 not so much LOL)

Weird stuff going on here- ever since we decided to TTC things have been changing around us! DH has dropped out of a hobby that controls much of his time voluntarily; car packed up and needed to be replaced (local garage wrote it off- grrr) so we had to give in and gett eh 7 seater.... all bizzarre! Even DH's workplace has put him onto a more family friendly shift system.

Weird.

cazzybabs · 25/03/2007 16:10

MEant to go for 4 then.....

and actually more support for your ds when you are in your old age.

OP posts:
waiting4bambino · 25/03/2007 18:43

Hi all, I'd like to join if poss.... I've been ttc since Nov after 10 years on the pill, and my period is due on 31 March. Last month I was four days late and wasted loadsa money on tests, only for it to arrive with a vengeance! I think this is a great site for info and chat with people going thru the same thing. It seems to me that my friends and people at work arent actually interested unless you are pregnant! And once they know you're trying, each time you see them, they say, pregnant yet then?! And then I have to say no, actually. I hate it! Have been really jumping ahead of myself - walking down the baby aisle when i go shopping, looking at outfits, even checking out moses baskets and buggies! I can't stop hoping, but hate each month when its a BFN! I have to stop hoping so much and then it should become easier.

MrsMcJnr · 25/03/2007 20:38

Gillian ? sorry to hear that hon, I hope April is your month and that you spend your due date feeling very first trimester! Sounds like the reflexology had a positive effect though. Enjoy the book!

Cazzy famous last words from you ?I don't think I am pregnant this month - feel life AF is going to start tomorrow or Monday
so I might pop over to April...if that is OK!!!? So happy for you hon! Hey don?t say there?s bad luck associated to this thread!!

Hello Latenightowl sorry to hear you are feeling crap. Temps sound good fingers crossed for Weds.

Alittlebitshy ? I?ve posted for you on the other thread at length hope you are doing ok.

Sorry to hear you have been having a stressful time Peachyclair All those acts of fate seem hopeful though!

Hello Beansprout I?m left but think that I?ll be the last to leave this thread and move to April as no sign of OV yet and I?m cd25, even my software has told me it?s not waiting for me to OV anymore and is classing me as infertile for the rest of this cycle!

Awen ? glad DS is feeling a bit better and sorry to hear that work are being difficult hope AF stays away for you.

Hello Kazza ? welcome!

Welcome Waiting4bambino ? I?ve been where you are hon all the things you are feeling are really natural we?ll support you and keep you going tell us a bit about yourself? Sounds like baby number 1?

MamaMaiasaura · 25/03/2007 21:23

MrsMcJnr, what a nice post u put me to shame I am always a bit crap at this and hurry them too. Lke in rl - I speak b4 thinking!

U are on similar CD (am cd29 or cd25 from 1st day of clomid) to me. DP still wants to BD tonight .. just dont want to stop 'just in case' iykwim. I still am sympton spotting which I really shouldnt do as am pretty sure not happened for us this month,. tbh I think I should be over in the april thread too altho that month looks like a wash out cos wont be starting 2nd clomid cycle till the middle of april. This is the first month that I have been as obsessed tbh, I think it is because i saw clomid and magic fix it pill .

How have u been testing of ov. U might have ov'd and not known it (I am ever hopeful). tbh I know very little about everyone on this thread, as in if they already have had dc or if they are on any treatment, how long trying.

Just out of my 20's I am blessed to have had ds (7) naturally. Was completeyl unblessed with horrid PND. Been with my lovely DP for near 3 and half years (known eachother for about 14 years). Hoping to give ds a sibling.

cazzybabs · 26/03/2007 08:52

MrsMcJnr - your software!!! Can it be wrong? Mind you I have never understood tempterture taking...to scientific for me (she ays having a science degree) I would be rubbish at remembering to take my temperture evyery day. I would leap out of bed needing the loo and think oh bugger...
