Beckle - I'm as chuffed at the possible arrival of your AF as I am the bfps (congratulations to those with them btw!)

becklespeckle · 19/03/2007 16:18

thanks beansprout! obviously am still hoping it is implantation bleed or something but given the nice crop of spots enjoying a holiday on my forehead I think its more likely to be AF, hope it a better/normal one this time!

fleacircus · 19/03/2007 16:50

I've been counting day 1 as first day of spotting, although someone else on here said I should be counting from first day of proper flow. It makes it easier for me to count from spotting as that is always dead regular but what happens afterwards varies a bit. To be on the safe side with TTC I assume I could be fertile from day 9-18, so that means if actually my cycle starts later than I think at least I wont miss ovulation.

fleacircus · 19/03/2007 16:51

Sitting here desperate to pee, still trying to decide whether to do it on a stick or not. Silly really, it's only another day or two to wait and testing early is literally pissing money away, but I'm still tempted.

becklespeckle · 19/03/2007 16:53

ooh, is hard not to test isn't it, I bought some of those cheap ones off of ebay so I could do a test once a week or so after CD40+
that way I don't feel like I am peeing on £10 every time!

fleacircus · 19/03/2007 16:56

Very hard, I seem to have no willpower at all - although surprised in a way I haven't been tempted even earlier, last month I was a wreck!

fruitful · 19/03/2007 17:19

Its hard isn't it fleacircus. I'm really not at all convinced by my line though. It's a kind of shadow. Might develop into a BFP in a day or two. Or it might not. So I'm no better off than before I tested, really.

Good news about the af becklespeckle (you don't hear that often on here!)

becklespeckle · 19/03/2007 17:28

thanks fruitful! AF arrival means blood tests can be done which will hopefully lead to some help with cycle... your hormones should be doubling by the day so you should get a nice dark line in a day or 2 (fingers crossed)

fleacircus · 19/03/2007 17:33

Good luck with the tests Becklespeckle - I'm glad your AF finally made an appearance. Managed to resist temptation for now... have decided to test on Wednesday if there's no sign of AF, although I'm feeling pretty PMTy so I'm sure there will be by then.

Lol Loopy. When my dd was nearly the same age as your dd1 is now, I was starting to think that I might be able to cope with a second child. I like some nappy-free time between my children.

Incidentally, both my kids are currently transfixed by "In the night garden" on cbeebies. What is that about?

I'm resisting the urge to go to the loo again, just to check...

Loopymumsy and a littlebitfishy - well done!!!!! So pleased for your both!

But very about penutbutter. At least it happened fairy early on (if there is an at least). Having had 2 mc I am not sure, but I think it is easier than having to make a tough choice later on...a friend of mine terminated her very very much wanted baby last week as it had genetic problems.
