Twistedsister7 · 21/06/2017 21:10

Oh wow @Flatwhite31 I really hope this sticks for you & gets stronger. Keep us updated!! I'm so happy for another BFP (even a tentative one) yaaay xx

Vicsteur81 · 21/06/2017 21:13

That's good news @Flatwhite31! Hope you get a stronger line next test.

Flatwhite31 · 21/06/2017 21:17

Me too! The line is definitely fainter in the photo. We'll see what my next few look like!

Flatwhite31 · 22/06/2017 06:09

This morning's FRER test using FMU:

JellyBean89 · 22/06/2017 08:53

OMG!! @Flatwhite congrats!!! That line definitely looks like it's getting darker x

I'm ok, been steering clear of MN as I don't want to get too worried or scared (more than I already am) 🙈

passmethewine123 · 22/06/2017 08:55

Just come on to say wohooooo congratulations @Flatwhite31!! That is an excellent line for 11dpo so fingers and crossed crossed for the stickiest of sticky beans!

In my camp, just waiting for ovulation which should be happening on Saturday and trying not to think about things to much. I'm having a little experiment this month by taking a Vitamin C tablet everyday as I read there have been some studies to suggest high vitamin c intake can help increase the amount of progesterone you produce and in turn increase luteal phase. Mine is usually 11 days which isn't awful but could be better, last month it was only 10 days which is a bit disappointing. Be interesting to see if it's any different this month.

Pibbee · 22/06/2017 12:07

Wow congrats @Flatwhite that's great news! And this was the cycle when you were being more relaxed about it all if I remember correctly? Xx

ttcnovice · 22/06/2017 16:30

Wow @Flatwhite31 just seen your amazing news! Huge congrats, so happy for you! What cycle was this for you again?

Flatwhite31 · 22/06/2017 16:45

Thanks everyone! @jelly, I can understand the worry! Me and DH are being very cautious and trying not to get too excited as this stage, as anything could happen. Hope it's a sticky bean as you said @passmethewine.
@Pibbee, yes, I was way more chilled and focusing on recovering from my concussion! We only had time to DTD twice round ovulation, as I got a static smiley (and a very positive Boots) OPK the day my digital OPKs arrived. That was on the Saturday, and by the Monday the OPKs were negative! We DTD that Sat night, then again on Sun morning. The doctor had warned not to DTD too much all month, so I can't believe how it has worked out. Being very cautious though, as anything could happen. I'm just reassured that everything is in working order. I also used a little pre-seed lubricant, as I had no ewcm (or none that I noticed). After the Sat night DTD, I lay down for an hour, but on the Sun I was meeting a friend, so didn't lie down at all afterwards and had a shower afterwards.

@ttc, this has been cycle 4. Very cautious though, as I feel pretty much normal! Some women seem to get heaps of symptoms at this stage. How are you doing my lovely?

Talking of symptoms (or lack of!), I feel better today now it's cooler. The school dinners smelt awful today, but no sickness or nausea yet. Really hope everything works out, but we will see. Have done two tests you're supposed to leave until missed AF, and the lines are there on those, but quite a bit fainter then the FRER.

Forevertimes · 22/06/2017 17:02

Congratulations @flatwhite! So happy for you! 😃

littleemma1 · 22/06/2017 17:29

Congratulations @flatwhite!! 😘 So pleased for you xxx

Flatwhite31 · 22/06/2017 19:47

Thanks @littleemma and @Forevertimes! Hope it's a sticky bean, but we'll see! Bought a clear blue digital (bloody hell those things are expensive!) to do in a few days time.

MistyBxx · 22/06/2017 21:50

Omg @Flatwhite31 that's amazing!! Congratulations chicky! I haven't been on here for ages either, and I'm so chuffed for you!! Fingers crossed everything will be fine, try not to worry!!xx

Flatwhite31 · 23/06/2017 06:34

Thanks @Misty! Hope you're well. Clear blue digital confirmed 'pregnant' this morning using FMU. The 'pregnant' result flashed up quite a bit before the number of weeks, so I initially thought the test was broken, but I read online that can happen sometimes. I was going to wait to do it, but I couldn't resist! No more POAS for me now. Starting to feel nervous now that something will go wrong though...

MistyBxx · 23/06/2017 08:23

Oh it's so scary and exciting though isn't it! It's so hard but try not to panic too much. How many days late are you?x

OP posts:
passmethewine123 · 23/06/2017 11:05

Try not to worry @Flatwhite31 although I know that's easier said than done. I think being on these boards can magnify pregnancy problems in a way as the majority of people using them are having issues trying to conceive or have had issues with pregnancies that haven't developed, but it doesn't make it any more likely that anything bad is going to happen to you. Right now you are pregnant so try to relax and enjoy 😊

Hi @MistyBxx you've been quiet recently, hope everything is ok with you?

MistyBxx · 23/06/2017 12:53

I'm good thank you, just taking it easy! I can't actually remember if I posted my bfp on here 😳 I got my bfp on 3rd June so I'm 6w6d now, ringing EPU Monday who are going to book me in for an early viability scan coz of what happened last time. Feeling a bit queasy this week which I'm hoping is the start of morning sickness as I didn't get that last time! Although I'm not enjoying feeling it lol. Just taking every day as it comes and hoping against hope that everything will be ok this time 💕xx

Flatwhite31 · 23/06/2017 17:03

Aww congrats @Misty! Really hope this one is a sticky bean.
I'm not late yet - that's the confusing bit @Misty! I got my very positive OPK on CD 11 (I initially thought it was CD 10, but it was actually 11), and I must have ovulated early on CD 12, as by CD 13 the ovulation sticks were negative (I did do them after work though, so to be fair, I could have ovulated that morning instead of CD 12). My last two cycles have been bang on 28 days, so technically I shouldn't get my period til Wednesday. However, I got my first positive on an FRER on Wed morning, which was a whole week before my period due date, and therefore extremely unlikely. I reckon if this hadn't been a pregnancy, I might have got AF this weekend on CD 25/26. That's why I'm still nervous about a chemical, as I'm not late yet! Just have to keep everything crossed I guess. I'm pretty sure I implanted at around 6 dpo, as I had stabbing pains in my womb area in that day. My boobs are ridiculously sore, and I gagged on my breakfast this morning, although not actually experiencing nausea at this stage.

Thanks @passmethewine Smile. That's a good way of looking at things!

MistyBxx · 23/06/2017 17:59

Omg wow that is early! Can totally understand your worry but you just have to not think about it lol it is SO hard, but this time, I've barely told anyone (I had to tell loads of people last time because I was pulling out of a new job in work and it was hectic!) and I'm moving house in Aug so I'm like totally concentrating on my move date (which happens to be a week after I will be 12 weeks, so not even focusing on that lol) it is ridiculously hard not to panic and stres/, and every twinge (or lack of!) is a horror, but believe me when I say it does NO GOOD to worry lol whatever is going to happen is written in the stars the moment your egg and swimmer connected... it either goes right or it doesn't and there's literally sod all you can do to control it. So enjoy the feelings, relax, drink gallons of water, stick to all the NHS guidelines on food, sleep, exercise etc and that's literally all you can do. Think positive and hope for the best :) so happy for you chicky! 🙌🏼💕

passmethewine123 · 23/06/2017 19:16

Aww @MistyBxx congratulations!! So chuffed for you, here's to a happy healthy 9 months. Hope everything is good with the scan, come back and let us know ❤️ xx

Flatwhite31 · 24/06/2017 07:03

So happy for you too @Misty! You're right, there's sod all we can do! I eat well anyway (apart from the odd junk food craving here and there, but all in moderation!) so not changing my diet too drastically. I do think I need to eat a little more though, as I'm a bit underweight and don't want to be that way if this pregnancy does progress.
Best of luck with the scan @Misty. Xx

SophSoph92 · 24/06/2017 18:47

Congrats on your BFPs ladies! I'm still crossing my fingers for mine, but I do have some other news myself!! Smile
