Opk confusion

Once you get your positive opk the next few days the opk lines then fade out (well mine did anyway) when they are fading out does that mean you have ovulate? Bit confused only started using them this month

Lol I've been wondering same as I did one earlier today and negative but was alot darker than the other tests this cycle. Though it was clear blue opk I used so not sure if you can read them like that.

The LH surge drops just before ovulation (after the initial surge and positive OPK) or so I have been told
