I don't want to tell anyone next time (if there is a next time) until the 12 week scan. Except DH and DD of course. Ugh I hope they'll give me weekly reassurance scans in the first trimester, can't believe I'll have to do that again, except it will be worse as I'll be worried sick every day.

DancingUnicorn · 15/05/2017 14:02

I have no idea what, if any, extra support to expect. I didn't see anyone at all until 11 weeks last time. :s

Mummyme87 · 15/05/2017 14:31

There usually isn't any offered extra support unfortunately but you can take yourself to EPU as you want if you have a walk in. Otherwise it's normal booking appt and Nuchal scan at 12weeks.

Hope you're looking after yourself grumpy

buzzmoon · 15/05/2017 15:10

Hello all, hope you're doing a bit better today ❤️

parsnips id be so annoyed at my family! I'm so annoyed on your behalf!!
dancing please don't feel like you ever have or will let anyone down, you're all amazing and have done nothing wrong ❤️❤️

grumpy it's a shame they don't offer any extra help, I think I'd be in epu every week

seven glad you're feeling better, I hope it's because you'll be getting your bfp next week! So excited for you to test :)

All good over here, struggling not drinking and with the drunkness of my friends although it has been really fun and they've been really good, but up till 2am dancing last night in town was not the one!! Making up for it by being so lazy during the day so it's okay! And it's so beautiful here it's okay :) sending lots of love ❤️

Buzz it looks beautiful there. It must be tough not drinking but you can make fun of your friends in the morning! Enjoy!

Mummy I reckon I'll be a weekly walk in to EPU next time... grateful it's there.

I just spent an obscene amount of money on the OUTNET and Net A Porter. Will probably return half of it but as I'm home this week I can take advantage of the easy delivery and return to/from your home service. I bought a jumper from acne studios, a grey proenzo schoeler shoulder bag, two pairs of Stella McCartney work trousers and two pairs of patent leather heels... trying not to feel guilty but I deserve a treat I reckon! Besides usually things are hit and miss so quite a few things might get sent back.

MrsC2017 · 15/05/2017 16:17

Hi girls! Oh parsnips people suck, they just don't know what to say so say stupid insensitive things and give you unwanted advice and worse want to discuss your misfortune with the world! How unfair, you don't deserve that and you certainly don't need it, especially when your still only processing things yourself, I would have blown a gasket by now, you're really being so strong, big love to you xxxx
grumpy it's so very sad and tears and pain are natural, especially to have gone so far in and everything being fine, it's so hard for men to understand that bond you have from the second you find out, it's all so cruel. It's good you are keeping busy but give yourself grieving time too and do what you need for you too and yeah treat yo self, you deserve it very very much xx
seven glad you are feeling positive! When are you officially testing?
mummy enjoy center parcs!
tigger and dancing I'm glad you are feeling better, it's such a process and the only way is through, glad you both have been pushing on as much as you can xx
buzz it looks amazing there, I hope you are enjoying the sun!

Training in my replacement in work, two days left, I can't believe it!

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 15/05/2017 16:19

Oh buzz that looks gorgeous! Hope you're having an amazing time.

I think it's happening. Pacing around with backache like early labour. Stupid cervix has to dilate to 2cm to let it out. Fun!

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 15/05/2017 16:33

Oh God grumpy - I hope it goes as well as it can. I'm thinking of you.

NaturWilde · 15/05/2017 16:40

Thinking of you grumpy.

You can do this.

MrsC2017 · 15/05/2017 16:46

Oh grumpy hope you're OK xx

otters2017 · 15/05/2017 17:33

Stay strong grumpy! Really hope it goes as well as it can for you xx

TheGrumpySquirrel · 15/05/2017 17:39

Not sure how long this will take. Hasn't progressed in the last hour. Went for a walk to try and speed it up. Walked to the pharmacy with DH and bought painkillers - and FRER for when we try again. He was shocked at how expensive they are! Thanks for all your support.

DancingUnicorn · 15/05/2017 17:54

Really hope it's ok for you grumpy. ❤️

TheGrumpySquirrel · 15/05/2017 18:17

On a more positive note, the Seraphine order arrived and the maternity clothes are so lovely. Jeans - stretchy but a lovely colour and fit. Work trousers - super smart, of course they are artificial material so can stretch but they are very nice and have loads of room for a bump. A good length and nice shape. The only risk is that I put too much weight on my legs to fit into them later in pregnancy, as they are quite slim on the calves.

I really hope I can get pregnant again quickly, I have dreamed of having the summer off work and spending a month in our house in Italy with DH DD and baby.

buzzmoon · 15/05/2017 18:21

grumpy hope you're okay and it happens quickly ❤️❤️❤️
Glad the clothes are nice and sounds like online shopping is a very good idea! Really hope it happens for you quickly too, but don't put any pressure on yourself, you're going through so much at the moment ❤️

buzzmoon · 15/05/2017 18:31

Also so jealous of your house in Italy! Gonna be amazing!

JB1983 · 15/05/2017 18:51

Sorry just catching up.

grumpy you are so brave, hope the painkillers take the edge off. Do all the retail therapy you need, you definitely deserve a pick me up.

orange so sorry to hear about your mum. Hopefully her treatment goes well, will be thinking of you.

buzz your pictures look amazing. must be knackering partying to 2am completely sober and pregnant.

Parsnips sorry you are struggling with your mums comments, especially when it's making a painful time for you more difficult.

mummy your kitten ❤

seven when are you testing?

Seven0fNine · 15/05/2017 19:00

Sounds like bliss Grumpy I could just do with a holiday home in Italy.

Getting close now MrsC are you excited or nervous?

I'm officially testing Thursday but will probably cave tonight. I guess if it's negative it will bring me back down to reality!! I'm an estimated 11dpo!

Seven0fNine · 15/05/2017 19:00

JB how are you getting on my lovely? X

TheGrumpySquirrel · 15/05/2017 19:06

Seven test in the morning!

JB1983 · 15/05/2017 19:22

I'm doing fine seven, so far escaping the nasty pregnancy symptoms but it's still early days. Booked a scan for 8 weeks because 12 weeks just seems impossibly long to wait.

Excited for you to test, maybe FMU would be better since your still a bit early but if your impatient like me then I know you'll be shuffling off to the loo with a stick in hand soon

HbH · 15/05/2017 19:55

Oooh Seven FMU FMU FMU!! Have you had any optimistic symptoms?!

grumpy hope it's quick for you, is there a chance you won't need surgery if it's happened naturally? Don't have an ounce of guilt for some retail therapy! If there's ever a right time, it's now. ❤️ Patent heels.

Sorry your Mum's being a pain still parsnips, you'll be looking forward to getting back home at this rateShock

buzz your pics are beautiful! You're going to need a holiday to recover!

Had waffles for dinner for the first time in about 20 years! sooooooo good! (With other stuff, promise i dont just eat beige food!!)

JB1983 · 15/05/2017 19:59

Waffles are my hangover food. You can just stick them in a toaster and hey presto! you can tell I was once a student

HbH · 15/05/2017 20:18

Ha! They were talking about them on radio one the other day and ive been thinking about them ever since!! They were saying about the toaster potential but I didn't believe it was possible!
