had ep removed along with left tube on the 8th of feb. pre ep my cycle has ALWAYS been 28d and af lasts 7d. got spotting on sat then af started properly on monday. normally af just jumps straight in. def ovulated last m on the 23rd feb. so what cd am i on now?

does that make any sense at all?

Hi Lissielou- sorry to hear about your ep- I have had one and it was a nnightmare getting my cycle back to normal. I have always coating from the first spot to be honest and it has always worked out to my usual 30 days.. hope this helps, but everyone is differen x

CD 1 is the first day of flow, not spotting.

I would also not assume that the 23rd Feb was the day you ovulated either, this could easily be wrong.

Ovulation can occur earlier, later or not at all in any given cycle - its not always the 14th day.

Would say as well that if you continue to spot over the next couple of months you get this looked at medically.

i did an ov test coz i wanted to get back to ttc asap and it was def the 23rd. but 1st day of proper period?

Ov tests can be inaccurate. These measure the levels of LH. They actually work on two misleading principles; namely that a rise in LH is immediately followed by ovulation and that women only have one rise in LH every month. Both of these statements are not true.

Would say that your AF started on Monday (spotting does not count re cycle days).
