Can anyone tell me if this is a positive OPK iv never had one before and this is my first month where it looks as though I'm going to ovulate.... if it is when will I roughly ovulate?

Sorry no, the test line (paler one in your pic) needs to be the same colour or darker than the other. I've started using OPKs and had my first positive tonight after testing three times today, each time the line got darker. Pic of my positive attached for help

Thank you so much :) iv never had a dark line (or any line!) on a OPK don't normally ovulate so not so sure what a positive looks like. Think you had better get baby dancing xx

It's probably a good sign you're getting a line . Have you tried tempting? After reading bits on the net I'm not sure OPKs are always reliable and don't confirm ovulation. Thinking of trying tempting if this month doesn't work. Good luck to you xx

I'm thinking of starting temping to think if nothing this month then I will give it a go. My opk went faint this morning and now this afternoon darker again getting quite confused

First picture is of last night's and this mornings together
2nd picture is 2 this afternoon

Apparently there is always some amount of LH present but it's only when the surge happens that you'll ovulate. How long have you been testing for? I've been testing once a day about 6pm and then when it started getting a bit darker tested three times (11am, 2pm and 9pm) and by 9pm it was at its darkest. When I'd tested the following day the surge had gone. I think it's a bit of trial and error with OPKs....I know it's very frustrating xx
