Hi all,

I'm looking for some advice.

Two weeks ago I had a suspected implantation bleed. I did an HPT three days later and got the faintest of faintest positives. As I was testing early I was hopeful, and assumed it would get darker. However, testing over the following week, the line remained extremely faint and on Monday I tested again and it was completely negative. Today's test also completely negative.

I can only assume it was a chemical pregnancy - but yet I've had no bleeding or period. I'm currently day 36 of a cycle that is normally 28-32 days long.

Has anyone experienced this? I'm unsure whether I should see a GP to get my bloods checked.

Thanks in advance

You may start to miscarry/ bleed in the next few days. I would probably see my gp if I still get negatives and haven't bled in a few more days (probably 4/5 days from when the tests went negative)??

Sorry you're going through this. CPs are no fun at all.

Thanks for your response physicskate, sounds like a good plan. I am 99% sure it's a cp but until I have bleeding it's hard not to cling to that tiny bit of hope. I have vowed not to test early again to save this angst but I know I'll never stick to that!!
