Ultrasound scan after blood tests

Hi all
I'm just looking for a bit of reassurance and advice from anybody who's been there, really. DH and I have been TTC for just over a year now, and I had the blood tests this morning that are usually done on CDs 2-5, with a referral for CD21 test, too.
Fast forward to this evening about half an hour ago, when a different hospital phoned asking if I can make an ultrasound appointment this weekend. I've just gone into panic mode. Do things usually move this quickly? Do hospitals usually offer scans on weekends? If you've been there, I'd be so grateful for your advice.

You should be happy they are so efficient! :) there is nothing to worry about - it is actually quite interesting to see what's going on inside! Ultrasound will show number of follicles developing, look at the lining, etc. Together with blood results they will be able to tell you if there are any concerns.
I don't think hospitals will do scans on weekends. Good luck! X

Thank you for your reply. You're right - I should be happy they're efficient but is there such a thing as too efficient? Thats what's scared me!
