Hello All

Can I please borrow your eyes?

Period due in 3 days.
Just done this test as boobs absolutely killing me & had weird cramping the day before yesterday. Very late afternoon wee so probably not the best sample.
Had stopped trying as decided am too old & can't face another mmc or Mc.

Thanks for your time

What on earth is going on?

Definitely a line! Congratulations 🎉 Hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy x

HollyJollyDillydolly · 10/05/2017 17:14

No doubt about it that's a good line!

Greenglassteacup · 10/05/2017 17:16

Based on previous experience it will either fall out or die but not fall out. I'm daft for testing so early & whipping up the anxiety really. Thanks for keeping me company in my resssurance seeking!

ButtMuncher · 10/05/2017 20:42

Your lines are exactly what I had with DS who is now nearly 8 months. Congrats! Flowers Wishing you a healthy pregnancy Star

rabbitstail · 10/05/2017 20:48

Congratulations Greenglassteacup! Why not join us on the babies due in January thread or the older mums one, I'm 43 and expecting my 4th!

Greenglassteacup · 10/05/2017 22:30

Not at all Hotpink, your advice has been helpful.

No thanks Rabbit. It's too early & I've learned from experience not to expect this to continue.

I have very mixed feelings about being pregnant again. Like I said at the beginning of the thread, I had reached the point where I had decided it wasn't going to happen for us and had come to accept that this would be ok, better than ok. We had talked about clearing all the baby stuff out of the loft and about planning some decent holidays. We decided to start using contraceptives again. Now this. My head is all over the place

Been cramping this afternoon, fearing the worst.

OP posts:
forfucksakejanet · 12/05/2017 19:55

Cramping is fairly normal .... have you bled at all?

One day at a time, it's so shit that early pregnancy lark. Who am I kidding, it's pretty scary the whole way through

Wishing you a healthy pregnancy Flowers

Greenglassteacup · 12/05/2017 20:36

No blood (yet). Heavy lower back period style pain. Will have a warm bath and go to bed

OP posts:
randomuntrainedcuntowner · 12/05/2017 23:09

I hope you're ok. Have you carried to term before? With my dd I had no bleeding but almost constant period pain for the first few weeks, to the point where I didn't even think to do a pregnancy test because I assumed I was about to come on. I didn't even think to test until I was 2 weeks late. You never know, could still be ok? 🤞

Mumofawarrior12 · 13/05/2017 06:12

Congratulations I see a line on all 3.
Can i ask what a frer test is please.
I done a test yesterday it was a Lloyds pharmacy own for £4.99 pink dye... no line to start with but a faint one which appeared after around 20 mins.. not sure if these tests are reliable or not though? Xx

Greenglassteacup · 13/05/2017 07:58

First response early results

I have a 6 year old, lots of complications in that pregnancy, almost lost her. Traumatic birth.

2 losses since, a mmc at 9 weeks & then an early Mc at nearly 5 weeks.

Ttc for 16 months.

Greenglassteacup · 13/05/2017 07:59

Your line needs to show within the time frame stated in the test instructions so 20 minutes sounds too long I think as most tests are 5 mins

Holdbacktheriver · 13/05/2017 11:24

Congratulations 🎉

How are you feeling this morning op?

I understand how you feel with regards mixed feelings. It's so hard to be happy after what you've been through. Sending lots of positive vibes your way

Greenglassteacup · 13/05/2017 11:33

I don't think it's congratulations. I've got bad period style cramps & have had a few streaks of blood this morning too & have done another frer half an hour ago & the line is so faint now it's barely there.

OP posts:
Greenglassteacup · 13/05/2017 11:35

This must mean miscarriage number three for sure
