June Bus - hoping for that elusive BFP

Hi all,
Thought I'd start the June bus as af arrived this morning. Biggest kick in the teeth as my sister baby bombed me on her first cycle this weekend and I am now on cycle 10. Trying for our first too.

Hopefully this will be our months!!!

Most things seem to say "full flow" as CD1, started using OPK yesterday and that's what the advice in there was.

Do most folks only do it once a day? I've read a few other threads which Highlight it could be at any time of day so if you do it every morning you could OV in the afternoon and if you don't dtd until the following day you could have missed it?!

Added confusion on timing and something else to worry about, will continue merrily dtd every other day and see what happens

Ava I'm in the north also and it's glorious but sadly I'm stuck in the office!

I've got a bit of a late ovulation this month which is proving to be a nightmare, I'm CD15 today and inseminated on day 11 and 13....if I ovulate tomorrow night do you think I'm still in with a chance? :/

I'm in London, the sign on the roundabout outside my office says it's 28c out and I'm stuck in work >.<

My research says complete pregnancy vits is good, but make sure you are taking folic acid, vitamin d, vitamin b, calcium and iron.

I brought the dk day by day pregnancy book, it is so interesting! However we live with my parents and we don't want to know that we are ttc so I have had to hide it in my sock drawer XD

Captainscat has your af returned? I'm still breastfeeding dd who is 16m and my cycles are back to normal.. and its encouraging that i conceived last cycle as i was expecting it to take a while also.. Goodluck! X

So... wed evening opk had a faint second line, yesterday morning (14h later) i had a near positive opk... followed by a faint one again in the afternoon.. I've had ewcm for 3 days. Do think its a possibility i MAY have missed the surge in them 14hours? I'm on cd15 and i usually ovulate on cd 13/14. Thanks x

Sounds like the surge was Friday morning... It doesn't last very long so makes sense that Friday afternoon was negative so maybe you would be ovulating today? It's so confusing

I managed to get him around again this morning! Got smiles last night and this morning so hoping to ovulate tonight tomorrow morning!! Eeek!

Good to hear you got a positive opk blue it's so easy to miss the surge isnt it. I've luckily caught my surge the past few cycles so fx I do this time too. Just need dh to be here this time as always happenes when he's away during the week!

Oh no! How long are your cycles usually? When do you usually ov?
Well i think its safe to say i think ovulation has occured now for me as ive had a rise in temp today. Just got to wait and see if it stays up to confirn it! Dp finishes work at 10am today, so will have a cheeky morning BD while dd goes for a nap

Bloody fertility friend gave me crosshairs today for Thursday - I didn't get a positive opk til Friday night. So I replotted my temps using the bbt adjuster as I had taken the past three much later and it's took the crosshairs away so we will see!!

Ohh it's like lines fertility friend puts on to plot ovulation haha bloody complicated. What app do you use?

Unfortunately I don't use fertility friend and just use Ovia currently. I am due to ovulate tomorrow or Tuesday and started using opk's 3 days ago, only got a shadow of a line on all of them. Has anyone ever got this and then got a positive or should the line get gradually darker until positive? Not really used them before. I've had ewcm today so might just ditch the opk's and DTD today and Tuesday instead. Tried to jump on DH earlier when DS was napping but he wasn't having any of it

I usually get pos opk around cd19/20. Confused now though as I did one earlier and it was super dark but not positive (iyswim) so thought I might get a positive later but jut did another and its lighter .. ?! Maybe I need to do one more later on after not drinking for a few hours? X

juney looks like you ovd on cd15 judging from temps and positive opk. Keep temping!!

A very boring cd11 here. Waiting for the big o. Bd last night, trying to hold out til tomorrow as don't want to peak too early so to speak (I usually ov cd14/15) but it's too near and I just want to all the time! 😂 Poor dh!

V stressed this month though, lots going on so am sure the stress will affect my fertility

I have absolutely no pma 😣 Due to ov this week, and just keep thinking to myself if I did manage to get a bfp it'll probably end in a mc so what's the point in bothering .

Doesn't help my sister had her baby today & we were due the same week so feeling very sorry for myself

Hi guys I don't know what CD I am due to my MMC two weeks ago but I just got a High reading on my CBFM dual hormone this morning - really happy that things are going back to normal. Hopefully I'll ovulate in the next week. Would be perfect timing for work so really crossing my fingers for a BFP this cycle.

mother do you think the sperm from day 13 will last until day 15? :( I know what you mean about stress, I'm sure it's being stressed the week before ovulation that caused it to be later than the previous month.

FF plotted day 15 also!
