Hello :)

Bit of background... I've been planning to start TTC in May (ie this month) and I started taking Pregnacare pre-conception vitamins on the first day of my last period, in mid March. I ovulated whilst taking them after that period so I thought all was fine. However, my next cycle was due to start 15th April and NOTHING! At all! I have had a late period three times in my life and it's always been a week at most but this time it's three weeks late and I'm panicking.

Of course it's May now and I'm still waiting for my next cycle to start. I've taken myself off of the vitamins just in case, and I've booked a doctors appointment, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this experience whilst taking pre-conception vitamins?

Could you be pregnant already?

Definetely not, I haven't started trying yet and I'm using a donor as I'm gay, so I couldn't even be accidentally pregnant :/

I personally haven't had this experience but there's lots of threads and online forums where people taking pre-conception vitamins have then had a much longer cycle. Apparently this isn't cause for alarm as it's making the luteal phase longer.
The best thing is to see your GP though for sure, especially if you're worried. x

Ahhhh, that makes sense, thanks @ForeverHopeful21 :)
Will keep my GP appointment just in case, but I'll also read up on this now
