Hi all,

So last three cycles have been 31, 30 and 36 days.
This cycle I'm now on day 40.

Got a solid smiley on the clear blue dual hormone test on CD 26.
That would make me 14dpo today. I tool a test this morning with a FRER and it's a stark BFN. :(

I felt for sure something was going on, its so unusual to be this late but surely if I was pg the test would have picked up by now?

Any advice appreciated.

Ive been having issues with irregular /long cycles (i wont bore you with it lol) and i dont want to give you false hope my dr advised me not to trust a negative until at least three weeks late. Ive recently come off of bc so my cycles are doing exactly as they please right now. Im not exactly ttc so dont use ov monitors so forgive me if this isnt the case, but is it not possible that your body geared up to ov but then didnt, it may have happened later? In anycase if youre 14dpo today youre not technichly late until tomorrow arrives with no af. Ive done alot of reading on this subject recently and apparemtly there are a number of reasons why periods can be delayed, easier said than done but try not to worry, wait another week and retest if your af doesnt arrive

I just dont get how my cycles have suddenly went a bit off, I dont know if its because I'm stressing about all this!

I'm just at that point where I want to know either way...this late AF but total BFNs are driving me mad.

Should I just test every morning now with FMU? Not sure how I'll feel if i keep seeing BFNs :( ?

Hi. I have regular 28 days cycles and im now 8 days late. I'm never late! Have no idea when I ovulated either. My doc told me on Tuesday to test in another 2 weeks as I could possibly be pregnant but my levels are low or I could have fell late in my cycle. However I've had 2 faint positives, last night and this morning. Your not out until af arrives x

Dazzle.. It could just be that you're having an anovulatory cycle (not ovulated) this month. It is common for women with no problems otherwise to have one or two cycles a year when they don't ovulate.

A fixed smiley just means that your body has had an LH spike and is gearing up to ovulate.. Not that you definitely have. And if you've been stressed that could be a reason why you didn't ovulate.

I would try and put it out of your mind for now (I know, much easier said than done!) and maybe do a test once a week for your own piece of mind. If you miss your next AF, maybe consider a trip to the GP.

Thanks for the replies...I was so sure I ovulated because of the flashing smileys for 4-5 days, then solid, and also thought I had a couple of twangs in my right hand side.

I got really excited it was actually happening when I saw my smiley face, maybe I put too much faith in those kits! :(

Getting to CD 40 is so unheard of for me...guess I just need to wait a few days more and see but it's driving me mad, I have never ever missed a period so I can't see why I suddenly would now?

CD 40 - Literally never been this long, I keep going to the loo thinking it's AF but just lots of white CM (sorry TMI).

Not sure if that's a sign or if I'm just looking too much into things :(

Hi guys I'm new here so please bare with me.
I have a question, I have irregular periods, finished af last Thursday but had bright red spot on that day just one bit and only on the tissue. Since then I've had cramps, nausea, sore boobs and major headaches, and I've been sleeping 12+ and still wanting more, when I normally only sleep for about 7ish hours.
I started doing opk test and it's flashing smiley at me the last 4 days which I thought was way too early as I only stopped af last Thursday?? I took a pregnancy test today and it was negative sad
Please can anyone help or offer advice

Can anyone tell me if it looks like I've ovulated please?
