Is there something there? AF due tomorrow. Tested 2 days ago and was completely white. This one, I think I see a hint of something. I'm based in Dubai and can't get a FRER so clear blue plus is the best I can do! Am I imagining it?

I don't think you are imagining it, no.
Seems to be a faint line.

If it's a bfp, it should get darker if you test in a couple of days! Not helpful I know.

I don't think you're imagining it but (and I really don't want to piss on your chips), I got a line like that a few months back on the same test and it came to nothing.

Can you get blood taken today and 48 hours later to check your HCG? That will give you a definitive answer one way or another. I'm in Dubai as well and I normally just call into my OB's office and get blood taken with her nurse.

I know - I'm trying not to get hopes up as I've heard bad reviews about these tests. It's so annoying that there isn't more of a selection here!

Looks like a line to me. Should be stronger everyday so by the time you get bloods you might have a decent result on a test.

Don't look for bloods yet, test again in 48 hours, you can always visit your doc on friday, or waiting until Monday might be even better.

I know your pain with only bring able to buy crappy tests!!

Definitely looks positive to me! Congrats! FWIW I found those Clearblue blue line one more reliable when TTC last summer than the FRER and got a line much like this a day earlier. I don't buy the idea that all blue dye tests give false positives; if they did they would be withdrawn from sale.

I'm pretty sure HCG bloods were covered by my insurance but I don't think it would be much anyway.

(I actually ended up using Shop and Ship a few months back to get some FRER sent over...that's how crazy I am) I did find CB Digitals in Boots over here but they aren't very sensitive so personally I wouldn't trust them until AF is technically later.

Ps - meant to add, I asked the clinic to 'express' my blood results, so I had blood taken around 3pm and a call at about 6pm to confirm I was pregnant. I then went in 48 hours later for a repeat to check progress.

Was that mediclinic prim? Wow I didnt know they could do it so quick. Def going to call them! Thanks for the advice!

No, I go to Dr Nicolas & Asp (normally the Al Manzil or the Marina Walk branch) but I bet Mediclinic will do it as well. Good luck!

This mornings efforts. Negative on a digital still. Not done blood test yet.

Digis are notoriously slow so don't read too much into it. Keeping my fingers crossed for you!
