Hi ladies. We have been TTC for 9 months now. I found out I was pregnant in February but unfortunately miscarried at 8 weeks on 2nd April. I began tracking my ovulation again after which tested positive on 18th April. Now I'm feeling the little niggles in my tummy. My boobs were sore yesterday so I took a test. Nothing appeared in the first few minutes so I threw it in the bin. I checked it again before bed out of curiosity and there was a faint line. This got me confused and I began to tell me self after that much time it could just be an evap line. Tested again this morning and the line is a little stronger. Today would be my AF date but no signs of it arriving? Can anyone see the image attached and suggest that's a positive or not?

Those are both very strong, don't waste money on more tests when you could be saving it for cute baby clothes 😆 Congratulations!

I've had fainter lines than that on BFPs. Congrats! If still not convinced get a Clearblue one with weeks indicator (use first thing in the morning for reliable weeks indication).

Did the clear blue one this afternoon and to be fair that's a lot prominent than when I used it last time when I miscarried. Ordered the digital ones and they should be here Thursday x

@April2017 do not worry, you have made it so far and it's is great! Our bodies scan the embryo and make sure it's healthy, unfortunately when not, they let it go. This is natural process that ensures we give birth to healthy beautiful babies. The fact that it happened before doesn't mean at all it will happen again. Cramps during pregnancy are normal as the uterus has to adjust and change shape. Try not to read anything and relax. Let the time and your body do the job!

Hello

Don't try to get darker lines every day unfortunately tests don't work this way xx depending on how much fluid you have drank that day etc it will affect your urine sample so please do not go by the colour of the lines. A light line doesn't mean your going to have a mc xxx
Cramping is very normal I have been in agongy with this pregnancy I'm 4 months now and still experiencing serious cramps, there's nothing wrong with my baby some people just get Cramping more than others x

Thank you for your advice @fluffy kitties. I have a 14 year old and I can't remember if I felt this with that pregnancy but yet I did with the miscarraige so it scares me a little. Glad to hear it's normal and I appreciate your comments they help me to relax more. Congratulations on reaching ur fourth month. Best of luck xx

Update : went to see the midwife at EPAU and had my bloods taken. 5 wk 5 days and my hcg levels are 3,300 which is a good sign as when I went Into hospital having my miscarrage at 8 weeks my levels were as low as 54 so I'm feeling a lot more confident in this pregnancy and allowing myself to get a little excited.. each week that passes is still full of anxiety and worry but each week makes me feel better. Roll on week 12 for U/S 😄

Just stumbled across this thread. Congratulations @April2017 You must be pleased about those HCG levels!

I'm currently coming to the end of a miscarriage (started on Sunday, at 5 weeks) so your post has given me some hope that it can happen again, and happen quickly too.

Good luck for the next few weeks and months!

@Bows85 sorry for ur loss. It's a terrible experience Wether it's early on or not. The feelings and emotions are all there and I feel for you huni x
I pinned my hopes onto ready threads on here on how others have finally has thier healthy babies. I was told ur most fertile after a miscarraige or recent pregnancy. I ovulated 9 days after my bleeding stopped which was 16 days after my miscarraige happened. We only had intercourse once 24 hrs after my positive ovulation so I couldn't believe how lucky we were to catch on.
Good luck to you both n hope you manage to feel better soon and make a lovely baby x
