Are some pg tests more sensitive than others?

I want to test early but waned to know if it's worth paying for for a test that is more sensitive- does this even exist?

Clear Blue say they can detect 79% accurately 6 days before your period is due but the Boots own brand say 5 days before and I think it's just 50something %

Has anyone found some tests better for early detection than others?

Yes, they can all detect different levels of pregnancy hormone (hCG). From what I remember First Response is one of the most sensitive; it gave me a clear positive 4 or 5 days before my period was due.

Remember the down side of early testing and using a more sensitive test is they would also pick up a chemical pregnancy. .
Never good imo.

Superdrug own test are 10mui
Frer are 12.5 mui xx

I would recommend first response not superdrug early detection, there has been loads of ladies including me getting false positives with them. X

I'd also recommend first response (make sure it's the early response one), they're actually 6.5miu I think x

Yeah I've read that first response early results ones are around 6mui x
I got bfp at 9dpo on one which was 5 days before period. I have a box waiting now x
