Right, so unfortunately I had to have a termination on 02/03/17 due circumstances 😭 I was 11 weeks pregnant.

My partner and I have been trying to conceive recently I took 2 First Response tests on 27/04/17 both POSITIVE! These were taken 3 days prior to when my period is normally due.

I then took a Co Op's own pregnancy test on the day of my period 29/04/17 it was negative? No sign at all of a faint line. I also had a light brown sort of bleed yesterday which has now stopped.

I am so confused? I don't want to get my hopes up to much!

Advice please girls xx

I would wait a couple of days and see if AF shows properly or not. - and if not. Test again.
Your hormones will be all over the place after having a termination (so sorry that you had to go through that) so it may be that your cycle is longer this month because your body is a bit confused!
I am not a doctor though. So this is just my opinion. Doesn't mean I'm right.
Good luck xx

I would be more inclined to go with your first response test. I have heard cheaper super market brands can be less sensitive.

I recently tested over a week after my missed period with an ASDA's own test and got a faint line (a definite positive though as I tested again a few days later). At which point I would have been 5 weeks pregnant. Each test is different so I wouldn't worry too much.

I'd definitely wait another few days, don't worry yourself in the meantime and test again.

Good luck!

Hey xx

Your body would still have had pregnancy hormones in it at the first test. Sorry that you had to got though that xx takes quite a few weeks for it to leave the body xz
