Day 21 progesterone Level results

I have just received my results back and they are 55. Really pleased with this. Anyone have a similar result and got pregnant?

Yes me. Three times with levels between 50 and 65. Four kids.

Can I ask where did you get these results done?

I'm had mine through a fertility clinic as I'm on clomid. I think you can also have this test done through the GP too.

I rand my GP surgery and asked them to do it on the back of taking clomid. They were a bit hesitant sometimes to agree but I'm a nag

Whereas I have been ttc for over a year and my gp don't want to know! They won't do anything for me...

Two chemicals count as conceiving (which is why they won't do anything).

I've been ttc over 2 years and got referred to the fertility clinic in January and currently on my first month of clomid.
If I was you I would go back to the gp and try push for some tests

physics I feel your pain. I was TTC for 18 months and went to my GP in tears and she didn't offer me anything other than patronising "advice". I remember the frustration to this day.
Fast forward another 12 months and I managed to get pregnant but then MC at 12 weeks. I went back to see my GP (who is now pregnant!!) and I went in there without tears and instead with the attitude that I wasn't leaving until I was offered some kind of test, any tests!!! I think she could see that I wasn't going to budge and I've finally been given the go-ahead to have the progesterone test and she also referred me to the fertility clinic.

Is there another doc you can see at your GP surgery? You may get somewhere with someone who is little more compassionate / more willing to budge xx

My GP didn't want to know either. So it was 3 years to get the first lot of clomid from the GP and then see a specialist. After a lot of waiting around I went private eventually. So my last kid cost me £400 (scans, tests, higher dose of clomid)

Forever ive been going and breaking down in tears. They prescribed me antidepressants... not so helpful!

I might have to steel myself and take the calm reasoned I am not leaving approach... the gps have always been male and very patronising. The nurse practitioner has always been very helpful with other issues so I might try to get in to see her. To add to my horror the last time I went (when I was so dizzy I couldn't walk straight during my last chemical). I was told to have another chemical which would start investigations... or to ttc for another 12 months. It had been a year at that point, so it was just adding insult to injury!!

I will keep on keeping on. It does seem like a lot of people on here have been offered more help than my gps are willing to give...

Sorry for the ramble... it's got to the desperation stage! We're talking about going private but it would be fitting to throw good money after bad if it's just never going to happen for us!
