Opk help!

Hi all. So I had brown spotting when wiping only last Saturday and Sunday. I am due af today. She always shows in the morning and so far is a no show! I have no idea when I ovulated this cycle so I did an opk 10 mins ago and it came up darker than the control line which has left me confused. I know some woman get a surge before af but would it make the test this dark? Any help appreciated xx

Take a pregnancy test.

OPKs can detect HCG and a strong result on the day your period is due could indicate pregnancy.

With both my son's pregnancy and my current pregnancy I got very strong OPKs on the day my period was due which led me to buying HPTs and getting my BFPs.

Thanks for your reply. I done a hpt shortly after the opk and thought I could see a very faint line but I think my eyes are deceiving me lol. Not sure what is going on. I'll give until tomorrow if af still isn't here I'll test again. Really hope it was implantation spotting i had last Saturday x

Mirroring what has been said, sounds like a BFP to me. I took a OPK when i was due on and was positive so went to get a test and was infact positive...:-)

These are the tests I took this morning about 2 hours apart. I think it's just an lh surge. I'm really doubting it as I didn't get a positive pregnancy test this morning. Would It not show on a hpt if it showed on an opk?

What brand of HPT did you use?

When I got my mega strong OPK the day my period was due I used an ASDA's own brand HPT and the line was so, so faint, it was like a barely there shadow.

I bought one of the First Response tests (but just the standard one, not the fancy FRER version) and although it was a positive it took a good few minutes for the lines to appear and again it was really faint!!

I went out and bought a CB Digital and even thought the HPT lines had been really faint I still got a Pregnant 1-2 weeks reading on that.

It was ASDA own brand I bought and like you I thought I saw a slight shadow but put it down to an evap. I used an internet cheapie one step yesterday and that was negative too. I do have some symptoms but I've been having a dull pain down below that comes and go's. Don't want to get my hopes up incase af shows lol.

@AmyL88 nope still a no show. Thought I got a very faint test earlier today but I'm unsure lol.

I drove myself mad testing and checking, was convinced i had a 2nd ine then bloody AF showed up

No it wasn't fmu. I'm gonna leave it another couple of days and test again. My partner thinks he can see something very faint but I'm not sure now lol x

Yes definitely try again in a couple of days..how late is Af now?

That's what I was thinking. I had the doctors on Tuesday and she said I may well be pregnant but not showing high levels or I could have fell towards the end of my cycle. Who knows lol. I've to "carry on" as if I am pregnant! X

I can see a line, was this done with FMU? X

Try again in the morning xxx I bet it's darker x
